Η καθαριότητα ήταν πραγματικά σε άριστα επίπεδα, μπορείς να μετακινηθείς ευκολα προς το κέντρο της πολης (κοντά στάση (νο14) τραμ), και μας άρεσε οτι μας δώσανε για τις μέρες διαμονής κάρτα δωρεάν μετακινησεων με όλα τα μέσα στην Βασιλεία... πολύ σημαντικό διοτι είναι ακριβά τα εισητηρια. The cleanness was really in excellent levels, can moved easily to the centre of city , and we liked that they gave us for the days of stay, card like ticket to move free with buses, tram in city... very important because they are expensive the tickets Αυτο που έλειπε απο το δωματιο ήταν ενα μικρό ψυγειο - μινι μπαρ και ένα χρηματικιβώτιο για να ασφαλίζουμε καποια μικροπράγματα. What was absent from the room was a small refrigerator - [mini] bar and a safe box in order to we secure certain trifle. |

Πολυ καλη τοποθεσια, κοντα στο κεντρο.ευκολο παρκιγκ στην περιοχη. ανετο κια ομορφο δωματιο. Δεν υπαρχει ψυγειο στο δωματιο ουτε air-condition αν και δεν χρειαζεται ιδιαιτερα. |

I came for only two evenings mainly to see Fulham play FC Basel. I did not spend too much time a the hotel therefore but I found the room clean, comfortable and spacious enough and the breakfast we had was of a very high standard. I also had a drink in the bar and found that it was very welcoming. If I return to Basel, which is more than likely, I would have no hesitation in booking a reservation again at The Dorint. |

Although a little out of town there are some nice bars and restaurants bearby and a fast and regular tram service into the pretty Old Town (5 minutes). No coffee making facilities in the room but a nice area in the lobby where a good choice of beverages was offered by the friendly staff. |

Superb room. Two adults and two children under 5 years of age. Very comfortable and spacious. Was worried about locotion being a little far to walk with 2 young chilldren (only 20min walk for adults) but trams run every 5 mins so not a problem. Very pleasant staff. |

spent one night here with my wife and daughter, and I must say that if given the chance I would definitely come back. the hotel is just slightly outside the inner city and right next to the expo center, and first attracted our attention with its reduced rates on weekends. although set up for business travellers, it really ended up being very family and traveller friendly. The hotel is only about 8 minutes by tram or bus away from the main train station, and offers to add an extra bed for a child at no extra cost. All in all, a great spot from which to explore Basel, or simply spend the night before departing from the Basel airport the next morning, as we did. |

It is not in the center but just 10-15 minutes by bus. Rooms and bathroom were clean and nice. We were able to find a parking place on the close streets every night so did not pay for the hotel's car park which was 20 CHF/night. Be careful with the tram numbers as some suggestions are wrong in these pages (for example tram no:14 has no relation with our hotel, we took it and went to the other side of the city) If it was more central, it would be more expensive. So, If you want to pay less, you can choose this nice hotel. |

The hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were polite. Breakfast was a good selection. The location of the hotel was good - it was ever so easy to get from the hotel to the Old Town on the trams. It was also really useful to have access to the internet in the hotel. Pillows on the beds were too soft. |

This hotel was very clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast menu was excellent with everything you could wish for. The free mobility pass was an added bonus, with the bus stop outside the hotel and tram stop ,2 minutes round the corner. We had purchased bus tickets at the airport to get to the hotel,but were told we needn't have as the booking confirmation would have been proof enough. The hotel was quite central, and with the added bonus of free trams, buses and trains in the Basel area was so easy to get around. Overall a great experience. |

The welcome from the staff was great. Parking in the hotel although limited and paying, in town it is very pratical. They give you free public transport and as it is on a main tram line, city centre is 5mins tram ride. Comfortable rooms Expensive breakfast, no tea/coffee facilities in the room. |

This Hotel is in an ideal location a 15 minute walk from City Centre or a short bus ride with the free pass you get from the hotel. I think it is mainly used by business travellers so it was very quiet in the breakfast restaurant if you are there on a city break and staying later in bed! |

The staff were extremely friendly and only too glad to answer any queries and were fluent in English. Our room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for 3 adults. The facilities were very good and I appreciated the convenience of a computer being available so I could stay in touch with home. |
