The staff were very helpful. They had no record of our reservation through Booking.com when we arrived and, as the hotel was full, they arranged for us to stay at another (much more expensive) hotel across the road and paid for the difference in price. The room was newly decorated and very modern, light and clean. The hotel's location is excellent. The room was small and contained 2 single beds when we were expecting a double bed. There is no lift and the stairs up to the first and second floors are extremely steep and unsuitable for anyone who is not fit. However, the staff carried our luggage up when we asked. |

Central location, very Swiss and the bar was open late. Reception only opened at 8am and we have to check out before that and we hadn't been warned that it would only open at that time. Wider selection at breakfast would be good. |

central location, easy access noise, noise, noise: room was right above the bar which only closes at 3:30 in the morning - I could not sleep at all that night. The stairwell transmits the music all the way up to all the floors. |

The hotel is a small one but located right in the historic center of Berne. A parking place is located 150 meters away from the hotel. Rooms are small but nice. There is a choice between smoking and non-smoking rooms. |

Lovely location next to river and at the edge of the historical old town (only 5 min walk into center, next to bus station that goes to train station), very comfortable and spacious rooms (more than you'd expect from a 2 star), pictoresque view onto river and old buildings, friendly staff don't excpect a lobby, the reception is the bar, haven't tried breakfast |

Location, although it was a bit of a hike from the train station. Could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom but that had gone by morning. Didn't realise that there was no elevator. |
