The Congress Hotel Olten is situated right in the heart of Olten, next to the Train Station and a multi-story parking lot. It offers spacious, air conditioned rooms and fine cuisine.

It is connected to the station, the historic quarter and the Opera House by a passage. The Aare river, with its famous wooden bridge is also right next to the Olten Swiss Quality Hotel.

Olten is also a good base for sightseeing as it is a major rail junction and trains go to all parts of Switzerland. Finally we had to catch an early train (6am) on our day of departure and missed breakfast. The Hotel staff were great and arranged to provide two breakfast packs the night before. Good pr. Excellent central location for Zurich, Bern, Basel and Lucern all about 30 minutes away and many trains an hour. Large room and large bathroom. Good choice for breakfast and the area was never crowded and we never waited. 3 minutes walk from Olten railway station. Area seemed quite safe at night. Olten is een mooi dorpje Het hotel is langs het station gelegen en heeft er dag en nacht het lawaai van de trein.Het doet binnenin denken aan een oud kazerne.Het restaurant is oud en heeft een trieste aanblik ,we hebben er dan ook niet gebruikt om er te avondeten .Wat wel de bedoeling was.
