Surrounded by the 4000-metre-high mountains of the Valais Alps, the Hotel Olympia enjoys a quiet, central location in Saas-Almagell in the Saas Valley.

The ski slopes and the sports facilities are just 100 metres away, and it's only 4 kilometres to Saas-Fee.

Besides a rustic restaurant and fitness and wellness centres, the hotel features 8 "experience rooms" with an individual ambiance, from the Smuggler's Parlour with tiled stove to the Grandmother's Room, decorated in a Biedermeier style.

Each of the hotel's 8 “experience rooms” (Erlebniszimmer) is distinct from the other and lets you feel a very special and authentic atmosphere.

Area information

Saas-Almagell is the most southerly village in the Saas Valley, on the south side of the Valais, and is 5,250 ft above sea level. It is a family-friendly resort with an idyllic atmosphere which owes its fame not least to three ski stars: Pirmin, Heidi and Silvan Zurbriggen. The chair-lift takes you to Furggstalden (at 6,230 ft) and on to Heidbodme (at 7,870 ft).

Saas-Almagell is a snowsure ski resort with many sports and recreation opportunities: fitness trail, minigolf, ice skating, tennis, cross country skiing, natural ice rink, hiking (175 miles of hiking trails and groomed winter hiking trails), mountaineering and rock climbing.
