Olympia Hotel Zurich

It is very close to the city, 10 min by tram 3 or 2. The hotel is near several cafes which are good alternatives for breakfast as the one at the hotel is so expensive. It's also close to restaurants and grocery stores. This was definitely the better choice as compared to the Renaissance which is not close to anything but the airport.

The heater was not strong enough. Our Double rm was 2 twin beds and 2 blankets put together. Blankets were thick -no option for pple who want a lighter one. Room was noisy but from the other guests in the hallways or in their rooms. The room was non-smoking but all the smoke from the other smoking areas (including the lobby and stairs) got pushed into our room. The bathroom was small and old. Hotel staffs direction to the hotel from the airport was not the easiest. He told us to take S16 to Hardburke and take bus 33 or 72. If you have time and lots of luggage, we suggest that you can take tram 10 then switch to tram 3. Or, take a train to the main station HB and take tram 3. The hotel is right across from the Peugot car retailer.

Spacious Junior Sweetfor 5 persons, close to COOP supermarket across the road, and close to Tram station. Friendly and helpful staff who provided cooking utensils.

The hotel is clean, no-frills, and the staff is very helpful.

We liked the easy access to public transportation and the new modern bathrooms.

The room was very small and the carpet had stains.

It's conveniently located near where I grew up (and my mother still lives)

We like the Junior suite as it is cosy, clean and comfortable, even though we have four of us. It will be nice if hotel can provide basic facilities such as boiling pot, glasses, etc in the room (especially so for a suite). It will be perfect and complete.

As per above, the basic facilities for hotel guest is boiling of water.

Location is in easy reach by tram to central parts of Zürich, price is fair compared to other available hotels (though this city is not among the cheapest ones).

1. Good location..not far from tram station (#2,3) that go directly to city center. 2. Good price for this class of hotel.

The room was excellent, spacious and quite good value for the money. The breakfast (extra fee) was also excellent. Being so close to the tram was a real plus.

Hotel was clean and comfy,not to far from city by tram, frendly reception staff.
