The convenience to the city of Zurich - we could walk to everything. The restaurant was quite expensive. Perhaps it could have some more casual meals at reasonable prices. |

It was a gracious oasis of calm; lovely position by the lake and well situated for the centre of Zurich. I liked the fact it is a small hotel. You can help yourself to tea, at any time in the guest lounge, or there is a jug of iced water, which were hospitable touches.I hope to return on another occasion. The dining room, for breakfast, was rather cramped - maybe we just came at a busy time! The tables are quite close together. On the second morning we had breakfast at their sister hotel, the Ambassador, over the road, where there was more room. |

the ambience, the location, free tea and water in the entrance-area, free internet and friendly personnel. The rooms are very clean and made with nice and trendy design. Located right behind the opera, 5 min. walk to Stadelhofen (you can get within 2 min. to Main Railwaystation or in 20 min to the Airport from there), 5 min. walk to great Zurich Sea. |

The staff paid attention to detail. They put easter baskets in each room, which was a nice touch. Although the location of the hotel was nice, it was extremely noisy outside during the night. The traffic was loud through the night. |

The courtesy and efficience of the concierges, the internet access in the room, and the use of computer-printer-fax, the location, close to the Opernhaus and the lake an river. The internet access through the TV, lthough very convenient, is not the easiest to use, and somewhat limited in time |

This is one of the best hotels in Zurich, not too expensive, central location, great comfortable clean rooms, free internet and fantastic tea room. Fitness center ( small one) would be a great plus to all of the above |

The staff were helpful, courteous and spoke very good English. The room was excellent, as was the lounge facilities, where we spent some time sitting, reading and drinking tea. |

Perfect for the street parade After we change room to the block on the left (Room #505), the Kingsize Bed was finally comfortable, but the initial room in the right block had a painful twinbed that was very bad! |

we liked that they offer tea and coffee at the lobby and we could drink anytime we wanted. the price was extremely high for this hotel. we find it doesn't deserve 4 star. Bathroom was small, the thickest curtains were short and cover only 1/3 of the window, the edges of curtains were out of curtain rail and the wall near an elevator was ditry from hands. the facilities looked cheap. Die Vorhänge waren kurz und bedecken nur drittel des Fensteres. Billig aussehende Ausstattung. |

The room was very comfortable for one person and very clean. Bed comfortable, nice view from my very window. Yes, the breakfast was very expensive for very little. Some days I got a small pot of coffee sometimes a big one. I never understood what you could get for which price. Continental breakfast should be served. |
