Nestling in the quiet Valle Capriasca is the Origlio Hotel and Country Club, with a little lake, riding stables and golf just around the corner.

A beautiful garden surrounds the terraced design hotel. Tennis courts and a golf practice corner invite to sporting activity. Discovering the area around the lake, the village and the neighbouring surroundings can be real fun using the hotel’s own mountain bikes. Young visitors generally have to be coaxed away from the playground. The old town of Lugano and the Italian markets are a real experience. Mountain hikes and excursions by boat are just as important in contributing to the holiday experience as simple dolce far niente. Our little island of shelter and repose is situated only a few kilometres away from the throbbing pulse of time.

A comfortable hotel equipped with all modern conveniences. With the additional extras of a warm atmosphere and a feeling of comfort. On sunny days, relax in our rooftop swimming pool, enjoy a refreshing drink and snack from the La Plancia Bar. Our indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium is at your disposal during the cooler times of the year.

Of course you can take advantage of all the free sport opportunities at the hotel, such as outdoor tennis court, golf training corner and mountain bikes to enjoy riding into the beautiful surroundings of Capriasca valley.

Our small Wellness Oasis offers the clients the best way to spend a restful moment; from foot reflect zone massage to a facial treatment; from a manicure to a whole body massage.

Meeting rooms are available with technological supplied that can accommodate the most demanding presentation.

Food & beverage

The Country Bar: entertained by live music (daily from 7 pm on), you can meet for an aperitiv, enjoy an after-dinner drink or simply have a cup of tea and relax into a typical and elegant lounge “English Country Style” - open from 7:00 am to 00:30 am.

The Grill Restaurant: here nothing, is left to chance; make yourself comfortable and taste the dishes that our “Brigade” create with fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Specialities from the traditional “Cucina Ticinese” to the innovative cuisine with mediterrean influences, the professional and friendly service, the cosy athmosphere, the beautiful summer terrace surrounded by flowers and the wide selection of wines make the "Grill Restaurant" one of the best addresses for “Gourmets”. Worth a visit are no doubt our attractive buffets and grill parties.
Open from: Lunch 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm – Dinner 7.00 pm to 10 pm

The restaurant "Plancia": by the outdoor pool, with a beautiful terrace nestled in the green nature of the Valle Capriasca, is the ideal place for having small lunches, pasta courses, snack and salads but also good for chhers you up with a flute of Champagne or a fresh vegetable or fruit Juice.
Open from June to September: from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm

Breakfast Room, Sala Blu: open daily from 7.00 am to 10.00 am (by special functions, breakfast is served in the Grill Restaurant).

The elegant rooms are functional, spacious and comfortable. Most of our rooms have their own balcony or private terrace. And most of them are air-conditioned.

Non-smokers rooms are available. Please mention upon reservation.

Mostly things and services were excellent and to the level of our expectation. Stuff was very friendly and helpful, speaking all possible languages, when needed... Making small favors for us when asked (well 4 star hotel and price probably included that :-) )

It would be nice to have it clear that outside swimming pool is open from this and that dates... For 4 stars hotel I would expect a bit more assistance, like helping us with going back to train station on our way back, without 24h in advance notice...

Infos über Hotel deshalb schlecht, weil es z.B. einen Nachtbus von

Mitarbeiter schlecht informiert: Es gibt einen Nachtbus von Lugano nach Origlio, Mitarbeiter wussten dies nicht. Zwischen Lugano und Bellinzona verkehrt eine S-Bahn, die Empfangsdame sagte schnippisch, es gäbe keine S-Bahn, auch keine U-Bahn. Wege zu Fuss wurden total falsch angegeben. Sauna sollte vorgeheizt sein, war sie nicht.

Le calme malgré les travaux proches ( pas indiqué lors de la réservation ), le petit déjeuner.

La chambre un peu enfermée derrière des tuyas et un peu tristounette, ainsi que le mobilier et la salle de bains pourrait être rénové et mis au gout du jour !

Wir haben um 9.45 Kaffee bestellt. Um 10.07 kam die Bedienung und als wir nach dem Kaffee gefragt haben, gab sie die patzige Antwort, dass nach 10.00 nichts mehr serviert werde!!! Wir haben den Kaffee dann aber doch noch erhalten.

Ehrlich gesagt nicht sehr viel. Das beste war noch das Morgenessen.

Das Zimmer war seinen Preis von 460.- / Nacht nicht die Hälfte Wert. Ich frage mich wie dieses Hotel 4 Sterne halten kann.
