It had just reopened and was very quiet so it was very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was excellent |

The location was good. Breakfast was good. The hotel was almost empty but we were put in a room that was small, smelt musty and the hot water was initially the colour of tea. The Swimming pool area was also dirty and needs refurbishing. I dont really know how it can be considered a 5 star hotel. |

This is not a 5-star hotel. It requires major refurbishment. Evening music in the public lounge area was extremely loud, went on until 11pm and disturbed all rooms on the first floor, preventing children from sleeping. |

Hotel staff is friendly, and tries to make up for the many shortcommings of the hotel. Nice piano singer. Nice, big outside territory. First of all this is not a 5star hotel. Maybe 3stars at best. Everything is incredibly old and out of date. The rooms are terrible. The decoration is poor and the ammenities old and uncomfortable (from the 1960's). Rooms are drafty and walls are thin. Nightime 'activities' from neighboring rooms are clearly audible, in detail. No double beds, just two twins pushed together. |

The location and setting of the hotel is splendid, situated in a beautiful parc/garden. The terraces, lounge and pool/sport facilities provide a lot of space and comfort. A great breakfast buffet. The hotel is really dated: no modern facilities, bathrooms from the 70's, the beds and cabinets are below modern standards. Also, the hotel staff is somewhat laid-back. |

The hotel staff were very friendly.The room size was pretty big with a nice balcony. The Hotel had a beautiful park with many facilities (Tennis courts, play ground for kids, hiking, … etc) and from the inside it had a basic gym and a great swimming pool. Also, the hotel offers a free parking on site The hotel did not have a business center, so you could not use the computer or the internet. However, if you have your own laptop, they provided free wirless internet. |

It was excellent experience -- the staff was very friendly and helpful and they were trying hard to make our stay there enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean, and a bit old-fashioned decoration (a style is a bit 70ies-80ies) did not mitigate the experience. For the price offer we got it was indeed a value for money. If 5* hotel is means for you a modernly decorated or at least recently renovated hotel, then you will get there a decent 3.5*...4* hotel with a 5* service. However, hotel stars have a lot more to do with the range of services that hotel provides rather than with the age of decoration. So for me this is definitely 5* hotel. |

L'hotel se trouve pres du centre du village de Villars. Le personel était aimable. La chambre qu'on nous a proposé n'était pas vraiment celle d'un 5 étoiles. Il a fallu qu'on demande deux fois pour avoir plus de chaufface car il faissait très froid dans la chambre. En plus la chambre n'était pas bien nettoyé. Le pétit déjeuner avais l'air bien mais qu'on on l'a gouté les aliments manquaient de gout. |
