The hotel includes the Gault-Millau restaurant "Rosarium". During the summer months, the Parkhotel invites you to dine among the roses. Monthly menus, using mainly locally-grown produce of outstanding quality, reflect the seasonal availability. The Vinotheque offers a wide selection of choice wines.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturdays from 09:00 to 23:00 and from 09:00 to 18:00 on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays.

Travel information

By Train:
Take the Swiss National Railway to Konolfingen, then transfer to the RM Railway. Just after leaving Konolfingen, press the "stop wanted" button. After a two-minute ride you will reach Stalden, right next to the Castle. From Thun or Burgdorf the RM brings you straight to Stalden with no need to change trains. Express trains do not stop at Stalden.

By Car:
- Leave the Bern-Thun motorway via the Rubigen/Münsingen exit and follow the road signs to Konolfingen.
- Once there, turn right at the downtown junction leading to Stalden.
- Follow the road for 700 metres, turn left at the sign indicating Freimettigen/Schloss Hünigen and cross the railway line.
- Parking directions are posted at the Castle.

By Plane (to Bern-Belp):
Rent a vehicle and arrive as above (Belp-Rubigen/Münsingen, Konolfingen road sign). You can also hire a cab or arrange with us for limousine service. The trip to the Castle takes 15 minutes.
