The hotel is situated beside Lake Thun. Here you can take part in water sports on the lake and hiking on the mountains surrounding it. You can also explore caves close by and take a lake cruise.

Thun's town centre is only a 15 minute bus ride away. Here you can visit the old town, castle and market which is held twice a week.

The nearest railway station is in Thun. It takes about 20 minutes by bus (number 21, public transport) to reach the hotel.
