Park Hotel Rovio  

I've ordered two standard double rooms but got instead two superb double rooms. I didn't have to pay for the Internet and for the espresso for breakfast as well. Room 314 has larger bathroom than room 313 but 313 has better view.

The mattresses were too soft for me so it was hard to get used to them for me. The cleaning services didn't throw my sanitary garbage during room cleaning but it wasn't a problem for me, because I stayed in the hotel only for 2 nights. There were no shampoo bottles in the bathroom but I always bring mine ;) Despite all cons I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again in the future.

Overnight stay only, but we found hotel staff friendly and helpful, room (103) clean and comfortable. There was no extra charge for our dog. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice to suit all tastes including cooked eggs and bacon.

Evening meal expensive if on a budget.

Quiet and comfortable environment, it is a good place for a relax, very characteristic of the resturant as well, a little regret only the swimming pool did not open.

The Park Hotel Rovio is in a lovely, quiet, town; three train stops from Lugano, Switzerland. There is a local bus ( seven minute ride) that goes from the Maggio-Melano train station to Rovio. The hotel is very clean. The room we had was comfortable, the beds were great and the bathroom was modern. The free breakfast was all you can eat and the food was excellent. We also ate dinner at the hotel for the three nights we stayed there and the food was excellent. The owners and staff were friendly and very helpful. The gardens were beautiful. We would stay there again.

The private park with pool in front of the hotel. Nothing better after a long drive than a dip in the pool with a view. Free parking for you car. And we got an upgrade to a luxury room while booking economy. So friendly staff, beautiful spot with view over the lake. Good breakfast.

The road up to Rovio is worth a warning, especialy after a day of autostrada. And the prices in the restaurant are steep. Compared to nearby Italie for sure. Our room had AC, but no remote to use it. Our room had a nice LCD tv but we had to plug it in our self. No problem but little things.

Beautiful Location, although a car is needed, breakfast was amazing, one of the best we have experience and it is well located to the three main cities in the area.

Free WiFi access would have been nice but it was only 5CHF a day if you paid, so not that negative really.

The breakfast was very good.

We arrived very late at night and the location was not easy to find. No road signs to the hotel along the way. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were ok .

The surrounding grounds, park?!?, Were not well kept. The hotel needs updating.

Die Ausstattung ist vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem alles piccobello, gute Matratzen. Top Lage, schöner Park mit überdachtem Pool. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, besonders Restaurant ist zu empfehlen.

Gut mit ÖV erreichbar. Top Lage und Service. Ich werde das Hotel weiter empfehlen.
