1. room at the back was very quiet 2. wifi signal was good 3. tv had a good selection of channels
1. had to keep re-inputting the wifi code after each time you logged off/ left the hotel 2. room furnishings are very tired and need replacing
location. clean. staff
Easy access to all modes of transport & the sight seeing spots - walking distance to the lake
Construction work-created a bad 1st impression but was compensated by the hospitality
Clean room & towels. Not a bad size room for the four of us. Continental breakfast wasn't bad, bread for toast, croissants, cereal, cheese, fruit & yogurt, enough to sustain you until lunch. Pretty good location, good bus & tram lines very close by & you could walk to the centre. Shower was surprisingly powerful.
Bathroom was tiny, barely room to turn around BUT we managed with 4 girls sharing a room & shower. There was a shared toilet on our floor (2nd) which helped. Walls are a bit thin but generally not a problem.
Staff attitude was great and location is ideal due to accessibility to shopping areas and transportation.
Would have appreciated a little more variety in breakfast.
Cheap but fair for Geneva ....
There is renovation of front of the hotel... Scaffolding and a lot of noise.... The rooms poor renovation, old paint, dirty ... First time to see something like that ... To book a room and builders in or outside of the hotel... Check before you book!!!!
Breakfast ... and leaving
Absolutely filthy hotel, bathrooms in room are like something out of a train (literally), beds had hair on sheets, noisy, poor ventilation, exterior being renovated, extremely poor value for money
Good location, near to shops and bus stops. Staff is ok.
Breakfast - no meat, nothing fresh
small bedroom, loud noise, toilet and bathroom is too small.
Near to tram and bus station. Good breakfast Clean rooms
tired room furniture Curtains should be closed all the time because of outside work
location was alright but not very central
the rooms looked different from the photo, lifts were tiny (but working), hard to see signage (as they were doing some construction activity in front but even without the construction signage is still very small), facilities dated, would be worth booking if rate is no more than 100 euros for 3 people for a night.
tiny bathroom, no easy parking
Excellent location, right down-town, within a few minutes walking distance to the lake near the water fountain
Quite noisy if you get a street facing room. Incredibly tiny room sold as family room, "sleeps 4", but could harld walk with just a few bags on the floor ... Mold in the bathroom all over
Walking distance to the centre, tasty breakfast, convenient and clean rooms
Superb Staff Good location Parking for free outside (weekends) Good breakfast Decent shower
Very basic hotel
Large clean room. Comfortable beds. Wi-fi in the room. Close to city center. Great breakfast.
The hotel needs renovation. Interior decoration of the room was old and there was the smell of the old furniture in the room.
Room was clean and had what we needed. Nice breakfast room. Great location to explore the rest of Geneva. Cheaper option in an expensive city.
The hotel is a bit old, and in the hallway to our room there was a hole in the roof. In the room itself there was no form of decoration, a simple painting on the wall would've sufficed.
Bathroom was okay
We booked this hotel round the corner of our apartment in Geneva because we were in the process of moving out and our bed was already gone into storage. Because of our expat lives we slept in all kinds of hotels all over the world, and never had such a bad price performance ratio. The double bed had two different mattresses, different heights, one rock-hard, the other far too soft en thin. My wife didn't sleep at all. The interior was so old (sixties) and worn out that if it wasn't broken it would be trendy again. It didn't match the pictures from booking.com at all. The breakfast was very poor, not at all meeting normal swiss standards. In our room we could hear the receptionists talking very loud till very late. The price for this dump was CHF175, even too expensive for Swiss standards. For CHF25 more you can get a beautiful room in Edelweiss with extensive breakfast. When I complained they said I had to speak to the manager... Off course he wasn't there.
Very nice people to deal with..everything was perfect n close to everything
After reading some negative comments I was a little nervous but in fact was very happy with my stay.
Rooms badly been modernising , showers not to clean , problems with WiFi
Free public transportation pass included, VERY helpful staff, included breakfast is very good. Overall a good hotel if you are in Geneva to explore the city.
Rooms are a bit small and dated, bathroom is very small.
