Pension Alpina

The half-pension service is really bad. Food is cheap and you can't choose, you only have to make do with the small salad and a pasta that they are willing to offer. Then they make you pay for each glass of water, for springwater, because they "had to be paid for their work in washing the glass", I have to quote them. 3% commission of credit card is added to client tab.

A tiny, 12 room guest house converted from a private residence. Run by a friendly husband & wife team. The wife speaks English. They have two Peruvian llamas for anyone who wants to ride around in the back. Lovely Alpine surroundings. The food is really excellent, made on the spot by the wife. They have a longish menu for a place this size; there is a choice of ordinary pizzas or pizzas made on a base of hash brown potatoes, which I found original and excellent. About 5 km outside the center of Thusis town.

Because we were three, they had to put us up in a larger room with a leaning ceiling. I'm a six footer, and could only stand up on one side of the room. All the other rooms, however, are singles & doubles, & looked more comfortable.

Sandra and Roli go out of their way to be friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Views from the rooms are spectacular and although bathrooms are shared, this is not a problem. Meals at the restaurant are fantastic as Roli is a very good chef. I would definitely recommend Pension Alpina as a place to stay and would love to come back to stay over winter to hit the quiet local slopes for some skiing. Thanks guys for a great couple of days.

L'accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires de plus ils parlent un peu de français ce qui n'est pas courant dans ce canton des grisons en Suisse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, le cadre de l'hôtel très agréable, les salles de bains sont communes mais très propres et disponibles ce qui ne nous a pas posé de soucis.

En Suisse les hôtels sont des chalets, donc le bois est omniprésent ce qui implique du bruit craquement des parquets quand les touristes se lèvent tôt ou se couchent tard vu la promiscuité des chambres, difficile de se reposer ainsi.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung. Für Familien mit Kindern der Streichelzoo mit Zwergziegen und Seidenhühnern; dazu gibt es auch Lamas. Frühstück im normalen Rahmen, Abendessen zufriedenstellend.

Sehr freundliche Bewirtung durch Sandra. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl und willkommen. Die Etagen Nasszellen sind gut eingerichtet und immer sauber gehalten. Überhaupt ist alles sehr sauber und einladend. Eine ruhige und idyllische Lage, weg vom Alltag. Ein wunderschönes sonniges Panorama. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Schade, dass es bei der Halbpension keine Menuauswahl gibt.

L'accueil, le logement pittoresque

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sandra und Roli sind mit Herz und Seele dabei. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin gehen und können die wirklich süsse Pension mit dem feinen Essen, die Tiere (Seidenhühner, Lamas, Zwergziegen) ohne zu zögern empfehlen. Etwas Abseits von Alltag - eine Erholungsoase. Schon lange nicht mehr sooo gut geschlafen. Wir wünschen Sandra und Roli viel Erfolg - sie haben ihn auch verdient.

Die Pension Alpina ist tadellos - hier gibt es nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Durch den Deal war der Aufenthalt ( ÜF ) sehr günstig. Die Lage ist etwas für Naturfreunde. Wenn man die Pension nur zum Übernachten nutzt, reicht so ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Die Betten sind super und der Ausblick fantastisch.

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein ( Deal ). Eierspeisen zum Frühstück gibt es nur gegen Aufpreis.
