Only a few minutes from the skilift, the (amazing) municipal spa, the bus stop, and yet set a bit aside in the upper part of Pontresina, meters away from the hiking trails. Owners are available and friendly. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit, bresaola, very edible croissants... In summer, a free transportation pass is included with the room if you stay more than 2 nights, as in other hotels in the valley.

My room was just above the café where people were talking and laughing out loud till almost midnight, hopefully I had a pair of ear plugs with me. The room was not overpriced when compared to other hotels around, but the valley is amazingly expensive. This is an old building, meaning noisy floors and (at least in my room) a prefab shower with a noisy pump you need to switch on before you wash. No big deal but don't expect the same level of comfort as you would get for the same price in other places/countries.

    Good breakfast selection Free parking

Terrible value at CHF140 for a bedroom without bathroom, CHF70 would be acceptable. Sink in room made gurgling noises all night (air bubbles in pipes?). Walls quite thin, easy to hear noise from all angles. Staff quite unwelcoming. Smoking allowed in bar & lobby, the smell wafts throughout.

The hotel is in a quiet area a bit of the main street, but still very close to the bus stop and centre (5 minute walk). The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was better than in most (Swiss) hotels in this price class (e.g. various kind of fresh bread, fresh fruit, etc).

For the price: nothing. I missed some facilities to make some coffee or tea in the room and it would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair, however you cannot really expect that for this price.

This b&b is very nice, price is reasonable, compare to others in Pontresina. We have the room with ensuit bathroom, it is very cozy with all the matching wooden furniture, typical European b&b, quite different from gigantic chain hotels, like ibis or aston. I can say that the owner is not stingy in providing fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet in the morning. For 2 night stay you can get mountain pass for free, you can take all the ropeways, train bus for free. We have taken advantages of it and save at least 100 chf. 2 minutes walk from the hotel is ski lift to alphangard. The view up there is breathtaking! And also there is very nice restaurant.

The only downside of this hotel is, It is quite far from the station, and it is uphill and uphill, from pontresina station it is like 15 minutes uphill, and from surovas station maybe 7-8 walks uphill.

The staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating. Everything was very clean and everybody was very friendly.

The location was a little far from the main mountains and the main village of St. Moritz. The Wi-Fi was not very strong. However, these are only minor details. The hotel was not very far from the bus, so it wasn't very hard to get to the St. Moritz village, it just took a while.
