Anything would be nitpicking actualy. It's just a basic room but at a excellent location. The only thing might be the shower head. You can't attach this to the wall, so showering is a bit clumsy.

Amazing amazing place. On our whole eu trip covering France, Italy and Spain other than Switzerland, this had to be the best place we stayed in. From the big and very very well decorated room to the great views outside, everything was simply beautiful. A couple of nice Swiss chocolates to welcome you on the first night. A pantry having all the stuff you could possibly need for tea/snacks etc. The hostess, Pia, was a great person. She came to pick us up from the Reuti bus stop herself and took us to her place. Used to prepare a very nice breakfast and small touches like her lighting a candle for us on the breakfast table to the awsome view from the window of the breakfast room made it all the more special. She printed out train schedules for us, advised us on places to visit and overall a very very charming and nice person. There is even a little garden outside. On out third day when it snowed, it made the place have all the more of a magical feel to it. The room itself is extremely comfortable and nice and clean, very nice big washroom. Internet is there on wifi and cable both.

Even if we tried very hard to find a fault, I doubt if we would be able to. The place was just perfectly amazing. PS: Be prepared to travel a lot though. Its a good distance from Interlaken and Luzern (and for that matter to major attractions like Jungfraujoch, Rigi, Titlis etc). You can see travel times through SBB website. But with such amazingly beautiful landscapes, we didn't really mind the travelling through trains/buses. The public transport system was so amazingly great its a pleasure in itself to travel. For those looking for skiing in the winters and planning to explore Hasliberg / Meiringen, this place is perfect, hardly any travel time and there is direct cable to Meiringen (we used it once) from Reuiti (cable stop 5 min walk from Pension). For budget conscious people and who don't have a Swiss pass, I would suggest that you add the bus / cable car ticket cost (average 10CHF one way per person per day) to the hotel cost when making a decision to book this place. But this is such a fantastic dreamy place that a few extra francs aren't gonna make a difference really, so don't be extra budget conscious.

We chose Pension Staldacher because of the picturesque landscape surrounding it but to be honest what we found there was way better than the pictures on booking.com. The landscape is incredible, with good views of the Wetterhorn or the Eiger. The sunset over the Brienz lake is magnificent. Pia, our host, prepared a breakfast for us every morning with delicious country bread, an excellent selection of Swiss cheese, home made muesli, tea with plants from its garden, etc. When we left early in the morning to catch the first train to Jungfraujoch, she prepared delicious sandwiches for our journey. As Pia suggested, we enjoyed the Alpine Tower panorama (2300m) and the Aare Gorge (Aareschlucht). There are plenty of other activities in the area (including the waterfall from Sherlock Holmes), so we hope to come back here as soon as possible.

Nice and very clean room. View from ground floor terrace is beautiful. Good breakfast. Personal (owner) is excellent. (good suggestions from owner what to do and where to go in rainy day....etc.). We enjoed our staying.

Un accueil parfait de Pia et de toute sa gentille famille, une chambre magnifique au coeur des montagnes avec beaucoup de possibilités de vélo / randonnées. Un petit déjeuner incroyable avec des produits locaux. Bref, le paradis !!

Уютный радушный семейный отель (всего 1 номер!), расположенный в изюмительном красивом месте в самом центре Швейцарии, откуда можно совершать как пешие прогулки (на 10-15км), так и поездки на машине или поезде в другие замечательно интересные места. Номер чистый, светлый с красивым видом на горы. Рядом станция фуникулера и канатной дороги. Хотя Хаслиберг считается местом для зимнего отдыха, летом, на наш взгляд, здесь не менее интересно, а цены....ниже!

Amazing views, great hosting, very clean and spacy room. I can fully reccomend to anyone.

For a relaxing holiday or a second honeymoon, you will sleep and wake-up in sight of the most beautiful mountains of Switzerland. Pia, the owner, takes care of all needs of the guests like you were there for a personal visit. Just an advice, use the coordinates for locating the hotel with navigator.

Sehr gutes Frühstück mit freundlicher zuvorkommender Gastwirtin. Sehr ruhige Lage, dennoch zentral.

Zimmer kann beengend wirken, wegen der relativ tiefen Holzdecke und wenig Blick nach Aussen; TV zu klein für längeren Aufenthalt; schmale Teichbrücke ist auf dem Weg zum Haus zu überqueren, was bei viel Gepäck umständlich ist.
