Hotel com excelente localização! Fica na cidade historica de Zurique, na qual se pode fazer tudo a pé! O hotel tem um bar/restaurante junto e ali que é servido o café da manha, muito bom!

O ponto ruim é nao ter estacionamento. Mas Zurique tem varios estacionamentos publicos modernissimos pertos do hotel. Colocamos em um que era a 5 min caminhando do hotel. Deixamos o carro la e so pegamos na hora de sair da cidade, pois realmente se faz tudo a pé deste hotel! O preço da diaria destes estacionamentos sao caros e giram em torno de 40 francos/dia

The room was on the top floor with lovely beams - the room and bathroom was wonderfully clean and the bed very comfortable (although it was very firm). Very impressed with the hotel staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a cold buffet - plentiful and very tasty.

It was the perfect hotel, we had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. Although the hotel is located in the very busy area of Niederdorf, the room was so well isolated that we had a very quiet night. I highly recommend this hotel.

Funky, newly decorated rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location, right in the middle of old town.

We checked out on New Year's Day morning and the hotel was having some sort of management handover that meant they were a bit short staffed. It wasn't a very bad experience, but a bit more coordination would have meant less waiting and better service. Understandably something like this doesn't happened often, but 1 Jan might not have been the best day to do it. Note, this would not stop me staying here again (probably only the fact that there are cheaper hotels in the same area would do that).

The hotel is located in a great location, once you find it, near the train terminal and downtown shopping if that's what you are looking for. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good as well. I would stay here again for the price and location in Zurich.

The shared bathroom was a little on the dirty side.

Need to stay in an upper floor room to lessen the imapct of the street noise.

Great team

Its location close to area with many restaurants and shops. Transportation circular skin easy to town. The facilities in the bathroom, especially, are modern and creative, making us forget the paucity of spaces.

The facilities in general. It is hardly a hotel, itself. Are rooms very tight, although with bedding and bath good quality, without other facilities. The breakfast is served in the bar which is located on the ground floor, which is also receiving the "hotel", consisting of a small counter, whose attendance is done by the bar waitresses serving customers while doing the check-in and check out of guests. Honestly, does not justify the fee charged, both face the discomfort.

Very central. Only two tram stops from the station and in the old town area. Close to the main shopping street for retail therapy.

bedroom floor could have been cleaner

I thought it was comfortable and a great location for short visit to the City before we set out to tour Switzerland. Staff were pleasant and breakfast good

Unfortunately we had an unpleasant night because there was a serious water leak from the room above 9assume a tap left on or bath overflowed. Anyway we were awakened at about 12.30 am with water dripping onto my wifes side of the bed and bed linen and mattress at one end soaked. I moved the bed across the room out of the way of the drip and fortuneately enough of bed left dry for us to sleep on. a disturbed night was not what we neede after a tiring trip to get to zurich and your Hotel. Obviously reported it in the morning but not much sympathy from the staff-----perhaps some sort of discount would have been in order but no such luck!!!

Great atmosphere in the bar downstairs, and the rooms are very nice for the money.

Great central location, very clean and convenient, WiFi worked smoothly, friendly and perfect service, nice breakfast. My first choice for the next visit!

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the shopping district. Wifi connection was very good.

Breakfast was very average at best. What food options were available were rarely topped up throughout the morning. Plumbing in the hotel needs replacing, constantly have the shower blocking up causing a bad smell.

Noisy at night. Bed board was broken.

The location was very enjoyable.

Sound carried extremely well through the hotel. The sounds of other patrons and the church bells resounded through the room all night making it impossible to sleep.

Very comfortable bed. Large room. Attractive decor. Lovely, friendly staff. Good value compared to other hotels in the same area. Very central location. Nice breakfast included. Would definitely stay here again.

Lack of a/c

The room was quite spacious, although it was an attic room. The location in the Old Town was fabulous. It was pretty good value for money.

I would unreservedly recommend Hotel Platzhirch as a great place to stay and excellent value. Newly refitted and spotlessly clean, breakfast good, they even provided slippers, dressing gown and soft drinks from the minibar all free. Ours was a budget room without a toilet but the loo was opposite and seemed to be for our exclusive use. Great location, too, in the middle of the old town with its narrow cobbled streets.

Nice location, reasonable (for Zurich! ) price. Minibar is for free.

The temperature was too hot in the room and I did not find how to regulate it.
