The two reciption ladies were so nice and helpful. The savage faces of resturant cooks which you see every morning will make your full day so miserable. The two bad women who were preparing the bufet brakefast are inconvenient for such job. Further more, the cooking smell was comming over our room which was dusturbing us all the time, even though I asked the reciption to find a solution for this smell but she said i can not do any thing for you. Strongly, i do not recommend this hotel for any body, for me i will not come this hotel again even if they offer it free.

Excellent view of jangfraujosh from the bolconies. Room has a dirty carpet with a baby size TV. Bath room has no exhaust and is ventilated through the room (bad design).

This was a great little hotel over a very good restaurant. It was centrally located just a couple of blocks from the train station. It was geared to the hiker and tourist that wants to take advantage of the Jungfrau area. The room was adequate, but the shower was very small and would be difficult for individual that might have trouble getting in and out. There was no lift and all the rooms were on the 2nd and 3rd floors. This would not be a good hotel for someone who has trouble with stairs. We were there with our adult daughter who loved her single room with it's balcony overlooking the mountains and the main street. Our room was nice airy with a very small bathroom and shower . The sink was in the bedroom. It all worked, however. It was a good room. The breakfast was very nice with the usual delicious homemade breads and croissants, meats and cheeses and cereals and hard boiled eggs, and fruit juices. If you wanted they would make scrambled or fried eggs for you. The breakfast staff was a bit aloof, but I'm not sure they spoke any English. The owner and his wife were delightful, helpful and very friendly. We loved our stay, would highly recommend it and would stay there again. We really didn't have any complaints. It isn't a luxury hotel, but is very functional and we really enjoyed it.

Lovely view from room, English speaking staff, easy to find and quietly located Was told I'd get a free drink if I ate at the restaurant which was part of the hotel. I didnt get the free drink and the waiter/manager would not let me charge to my room.

Very nice mountain view from the room, comfortable with coin washing machine in the hotel. Hotel is not far from train station.

Excellent and very helpful staff. A great value for either a personal leasure or business stay in and around the Interlaken area. Will attempt to stay there again when we return to that area.

Outside, the hotel looks quite outstanding. In the restaurant the atmosfere is also nice and all is well decorated like only the swiss know. The food in the restaurant is reasonable. Pizza especially above average. Breakfast is basic but good. All in all, it's a reasonable place if you only stay a few nights and want good value. However, there is a downside when you get to your room. The furniture is old. They are quite tight. Some even smell "old".

Clean and comforatble. Location is excellent!!! Staff are really nice and helpful. They have everything you need: great lounge with fire place, free wi-fi and laptop at the lounge and even books. Will definitely go back there.

View was brilliant, hospitality of reception was similar, flexible and warm professionalism left us with a gret home feeling. Typical budget challet accommodation but the competive edge of this hotel was the warm hospitality

We stayed at PH for 2 nights en route to Italy. It was relatively good value(everything in Switzerland is expensive), and a convenient location for Interlaken and the local area. The restaurant was good. Parking was a problem, possibly because we were there at a busy time, and the hotel's limited car park was full.

The hotel is comfortable and clean with simply decorated rooms. It is decent value for money considering proximity to Interlaken West railway station (within walking distance) and cleanliness and service. The breakfast is not lavish, but good. Considering the reason that persons go to Interlaken is to enjoy the surrounding countryside, this hotel is more than adequate to meet one's needs. The Portuguese who work at the hotel are friendly and pleasant. We were provided good advice by the gentleman at reception regarding our potential days' itineraries, particularly regarding hiking options and minimizing expenses related to transport.

It's situation for Interlaken was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an economical hotel in that part of Switzerland. Staff and service were excellent - couldn't fault it. Will happily use if ever near there again. Good value for money.

Very neat hotel with great view..the location is great, close to amenities and train station..they have traditional stuff around the hotel, which is great to see..they have laundry room When other guests in the top floor were moving we could hear the floor cracking all the time so it's really annoying..no internet connection except in the community room..we stayed there in August, yet we found it really hard to sleep the first night because the room was very cold..the cleaning staff (two ladies) are so rude, whereas the girl in the reception was so nice and polite.

wonderful views from balcony seen through window boxes filled with geraniums. quiet at night after restaurant emptied. plentiful but simple breakfast. close to centre of Interlaken. toilet/ shower facilities quite cramped. insufficient towels supplied.

Good/ample breakfast. Excellent staff/service. Well looked after and will return!! The in-house restaurant is not part of the hotel - seperate payments - (not to be added to/on your hotel bill !!) Inconvenient.

Hotel is located very near to Interlaken West station. Its old hotel but maintenaied very well. Nice view from balcony and friendly staff.

Location in Interlaken is good for shopping. Room had mould in showers and entire room and hotel smelled of smoke due to employees smoking in the cafe that is associated with the hotel. The room was average in size but it was way overpriced for what I got compared to other hotels that I stayed in while travellling through Europe for a month. Would not recommend it to friends.
