Welcoming family run hotel in beautiful wood throughout. Great sized rooms with large sitting area and balcony reasonably priced in good location. Very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful, mostly excellent English. Wi-fi good

Did not use the restaurant although we are told it had a good reputation.

hotel charge 200 SF about 12 xerors pages 3 local tel calls and parking my friends Pereira and Pretyman that was together with me same time dont pay nothing of Parking so Iwould like to receive the diference of 200 SF less 12 xerox and the cust of telephone calls

Very spacious room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Friendly and multi-lingual staff. Great location in the centre of town (although Gstaad is a very small town anyway!). Decent breakfast. Food in restaurant is very nice, and reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants in the town.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. Centrally located and not far from the railway station. Breakfast is typical wholesome Swiss. The restaurant serves good food.

Room too small.

The HOTEL staff was very helpful by upgrading us to a bigger room, free parking in front of the hotel, early book in and late breakfast

Fantastic location. Beautiful, historic and genuine Swiss building: lovely opportunity. Waitresses very friendly and helpful. Reception staff (from the family who own the Hotel?) organised a ski instructor for me, which was great.

Nothing really, although a kettle in the room would have been good to make tea, early in the morning before breakfast.

Etablissement qui nous avait été recommandé selon nos critères (authenticité) par l'Office de Tourisme de Staad lors de notre passage en novembre. Hotel familial depuis plusieurs générations, décor authentique trés dépaysant, restauration locale soignée, personnel accueillant; chambre spacieuse et salle de bain agréable. Le tout très propre. Nous n'avons donc pas recherché ailleurs. Attention pas d'ascenseur!

Accueil très sympathique de la direction, personnel souriant et serviable, rapide, tant au niveau de la chambre qu'au niveau du restaurant. Restauration de très bonne qualité, choix varié. Situation très agréable de l'hôtel en début de la zone piétonne, permettant aussi un accès facile pour les bagages, parking extérieur avec quelques places réservées pour les clients de l'hôtel, en nombre suffisant. Silence et bonne isolation phonique des chambres, propreté parfaite. Chauffage tout à fait satisfaisant. Un bon souvenir pour un passage rapide à Gstaad, que nous espérons pouvoir renouveler.

Familiäre Atmosphäre,- zentrale Lage,- sehr gutes Essen,- nettes,freundliches Personal,--man ist bemüht Wünsche zu erfüllen,- einmal pro Woche wurde das abendliche Nachtessen mit live Musik umrahmt,- heimelige Zimmer.

Im Hotel-Speisesaal war es zu kalt und zog bei den Fenstern heftig hinein. Das Treppensteigen zu den Zimmern ist für ältere Personen etwas mühsam. Die Aufenthaltsecke ist sehr klein und verfügte über keine Gesellschaftsspiele, Kinderbücher, Romane oder Spiele für Kinder. Die Leselampen an den Betten erfüllen kaum ihren Zweck und ein Lesen mit spärlichem Lcht ist unangenehm.
