Good location very close to train station and bus stop right outside..Room was great Went there also for the wellness but they do not have a hot pool, the romantic pool in the picture actually charge 170frs for 90 mins... Will probably choose more local one next time at Engelberg... No Wifi and cannot boil hot water in the room...

The breakfast buffet is superb!! Our room was spatious and comfortable. Good location. No parking available at hotel. Not great for kids (no play room or activities).

Room was comfortable, Good view from the balcony, Close to train station. Good idea if rooms had electric kettles with some tea bags/instant coffee concentrate and milk satchets for use of guests. Also include a cuisine (for breakfast / lunch / dinner) based on an Indian menu (I could see a lot of Indian guests), Must have internet access in the rooms (not forcing us to keep buying Swisscom internet cards which are very user - unfriendly)

The hotel is right in engelberg--easy train or driving access. Parking is included. We were able to bring our dog - surcharge for her (large dog) was not unreasonable. I didn't like that housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30 on Sunday morning! Also, the spa and pool closes early, at 21:00.

The doors to the hallway were not very soundproof, so you could hear all the activity going on in the hall. This was further accentuated by drunk guests arriving back late who proceeded to disrupt the entire floor (which is no fault of the hotel) but it was clearly heard through the thin doors.

The convenience of being in the City center. The inconvenient Swisscom Public Wireless Internet Value card system. Free Wireless Internet is available at many other hotels at no cost.

Bus stop for the skilift is right in a front of the Hotel. Value for money, rooms are quite old, bathroom was renovated but not they didn't do a good job. It was not possible to get at the hotel restaurant a carot/potato cream for our little boy.

Location of ski bus stop directly outside the hotel. Good room size with plenty of storage. 1. Breakfast selection quite poor given cost of room. 2. Hotel staff unaware of Swiss Trains Baggage service (whereas this should be highlighted to guests with the concierge taking care of the luggage transfers). 3. Hotel feels very corporate (could be situated in any city rather than a mountain village) - maybe roaring log fires in the reception areas and a less 'harsh' interior design in the bedrooms would help? 4. Exterior of the hotel looks like a 1970s concrete monstorsity and does not fit with village surroundings - maybe some more appropraite cladding and roofline would help? 5. Bedding was not changed during our 4 nights of our stay and the beds are far too hard - had to request duvets to sleep on top of as a mattress topper.

Das Hotel hat überhaupt keine 4Sterne verdient! Die Hotels entsprachen überhaupt nicht den Bildern, es war sehr heiss und trockene Luft im Zimmer, alte Möbel (ziemlich abgenutzt), der Tisch war kaputt. Obwohl es hiess "Doppelbett" hatten wir zwei Einzelbetten aneinander gestellt erhalten: der Spalt war sehr störend! Auch war es sehr hellhörig und man hatt jeden Lärm gehört, es war sehr unruhig. Das Hotel lässt absolut zu Wünschen übrig. Für 4 Sterne muss eine Totalrennovation her.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Engelberg und ist doch ruhig. Durch die zentrale Lage und die Busverbindungen im Winter ist man schnell in den Skigebieten. Die Zimmer sind gross und hell. Die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sind zu teuer, wenn man bedenkt, dass diese nicht reserviert werden und man nie sicher ist, ob ein Parkplatz vorhanden ist, wenn man von einem Ausflug zurück kommt.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet. Zudem fand ich es sehr aufmerksam vom Hotel, dass Sie uns 3 Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt haben, die durch einen gemeinsamen Balkon verbunden sind. Das Personal war äusserst freundlich. Es ist schade, dass das Wellness-Angebot erst ab 14.00 Uhr zur Verfügung steht. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, konnten wir das am nächsten Tag vor dem Check-out um 12.00 Uhr gar nicht nutzen.

It was as good as any 5 star hotels that I had stayed in before with my 3 girls. The suite was of a very good size and very comfortable.
