El hotel Regina es un establecimiento hospitalario, cómodo y a un precio razonable. Ha sido reformado recientemente y está situado en el centro de la ciudad, en una zona peatonal muy tranquila. A pocos minutos del hotel está la estación de tren, el centro de congresos y exposiciones (Palais de Beaulieu), museos, teatros, clínicas privadas, el Hospital de la Universidad (CHUV), bancos, tiendas y centros comerciales. La red de transporte público, con estación de metro y parada de autobús, se encuentra también muy cerca. Los impuestos (City Tax) deben pagarse como costes adicionales y permiten a los turistas acceder de forma gratuita al transporte público de Lausanne y obtener su "Mobilis ticket" a su llegada en recepción. We were given a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the castle. The price. I thought it was high for a 3 star hotel.

Internet worked flawlessly. Excellent location, very close to Metro Flon. Publich transport ticket was included in the prize (but this probably is true for all hotels in Lausanne). Not much choice at the breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. It wasn't the hotel fault, but the noise from outside in the morning and the church bell woke me up quite early. The light sleeper may need the ear plug or close the window.

The hotel is in the centre of town, right next to Lausanne-Flon, giving it an excellent location as a base for travels. It is also in the area of the city where it is easy to find reliable reasonably priced food. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the reception spoke wonderful English, as well as the usual French. The interiors are clean, and the decor are tasteful. The bathrooms are bright and modern and very clean. Because of its location, compared to some other hotels it does not have as good a view: most rooms cannot directly see either the Cathedral or the Lake. But one can easily walk to the cathedral from the hotel. Also, occasionally there were some noisy night revellers who passes outside the window, but it happens infrequently enough that it wasn't really a bother.

Very convenient position and yet quiet; getting the public transport ticket; lovely soft water; very comfortable mattress. Lack of air conditioning when the day time temp was +/- 30; pillow over stuffed; hair dryer nozzle too big for blow drying but no socket to plug in my own

Location right next to train station was very convenient for our travel to Geneva and around the city. Junior suite was very nice! Bed was a bit hard and kids had to stay on a different floor and other side of the hotel, but hotel is not huge, so it was not too bad.

Excellent location if you want to be in the very center of the town. Good choice and if your budget is tight. However the staff could improve their sense of welcome and the breakfast could include at least fresh fruit.

Bon accueil, qualité standard, pas de surprise. Personnel très aimable. petit déjeuner un peu pauvre pour un trois étoiles: pas d'oeufs, pas de choix de fromage; croissants pas terribles (mais c'est difficile de trouver de bons croissants hors de France). Le café est bon.
