Résidence Castel Club Leysin Parc  

A fantastic week's skiing holiday. Our apartment was on the top floor and the views are amazing. There is a lift! Within the apartment, there was an upstairs "mezzanine" floor with 1 double and 1 single & a sloping roof (which we thought was great but perhaps wouldn't suit everyone.) 2 further sofa beds (1 double and 1 single) in the living area downstairs. 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower and 1 with a bath. The kichen was fully equipt apart from no kettle. The coffee machine was fantastic! There was plenty of wardrobe and general living space for 4 of us (2 adults 2 children ages 11 & 13). There was a hotel Mini Bus to the main telecabine for the ski slopes each morning and evening was great, as was the storage for skiis at the bottom of the telecabine. Its a short walk to the village, and using the 'back roads' the supermarket was about 10 minutes walk.

Its proximity to the train and shuttle - both are free. It's also a 7 minute walk to the grocery and city center. The apartment itself is well planned and has all essential things in the kitchen. The views are beautiful!

I personally had no problems there at all. However, I think guests should be made aware of two cats (maybe more?) that live in the building in case guests have allergy issues.

It was well located on the edge of the village with stunning mountain views. The play park was a 2 min walk away for my kids to play. The owner was really friendly and took the time to answer all your questions. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for casual self catering accommodation and I would happily book it again the next time we're planning to visit Leysin.

Value for money and the location

This was our third stay at Castel Club and our cheapest room. Previously we had booked a large room and a 1 bedroom with balcony. This time was the studio for 2 people and this was by far our favourite room. The room is very nicely appointment with a great cooker, dishwasher, Fab shower and bathroom. Very comfy beds, and a lovely lovely balcony with a view of the hills and countryside. The hotel is lovely. The staff are great but they are swiss, I note other people have said they weren't friendly... They are friendly Its just the swiss way not to be overly gushing. They answered my every request instantly and were happy and professional. The hotel is close to the bottom of the village, within a few feet of the bread and cake shop (kush) and the Co-Op for shopping, further up the hill is another supermarket caled pam. The area is quiet, relaxing and very very pretty. Highly recommended

Bring your own hairdryer, the one there is a kind of 60's effort and my hair was wild for the whole week lol!

Your format is excellent, and I would thoroughly recommend your hotel and stay with you again.

The non-availability of wi-fi internet access in our apartment due to poor network reception in the building where I was staying was an irritant. It forced me to have to work in the reception/bar lounge area, but that is not open 24 hrs. This meant that we did not have internet access outside of the reception/bar lounge open times. I recommend you get a simple signal booster that will enable wi-fi reception to all apartments.

the most amazing views of the mountains,especially mont blanc in the french alps.although situated on the lower half of leysin it was within easy walk of the supermarket and shops.have stayed here 3 times now.lovely...

there was only 1 englsh channel on the tv.the world news.....and even though we were there 5 days the towels werent changed.

The room has a spectacular view with the mountains, you can enjoy it while drinking your morning coffee.

It takes some effort to reach the hotel because you have to drive about 18 km on curvy mountain roads.

The apartment is spacious and clean and very well equipped. Well worth a return visit.

Accomodation very well laid out, very clean, secure underground garage parking. Ideal for families.

Our room had an excellent view of the Alps. The kitchen was very well equipped and the room was very spacious.

Lo mejor es que esta ubicado en un entorno privilegiado y proximo a otros pueblos tipicamente de montana Suizos, dispone de cocina completa lo que contribuye a organizar de forma economica tus desayunos y cenas con los mas peques ya que Suiza es un pais caro para realizar todas tus comidas fuera del hotel.
