Decent Price Very roomy Very clean
Internet was out for the entire stay despite notifying owner No arrival instructions given (the key was in a mailbox in the lobby but we didn't know that) Noise from street while sleeping No Iron/Ironing board in apartment Confusing electrical switch setup AC remote broken
I liked nothing about this place
Nothing was available to be liked no wifi horrible beds and pillows
wifi really not working even though i called before i booked and asked them if there will be any problems, because i needed it to study, and they assured me that it worked fine..the sheets were filthy and the pillowcases smelled...the bath is a death trap and there was no reception for us to check out...kept calling them on their 24h phone number..never got an answer
Clean apartment Relatively spacious New floors
Although the floors were new, everything else wasn't, including a virtually antique 13 inch CRT TV that didn't have the channels advertised on the information brochure in the room. Wifi in the apartment was virtually non-existent
People were firndly and accomodated to my needs. Not cheap but reasonable by Zurich standards.
Bit confusing, not a hotel per se. no wifi, but that could have been my fault.
Wi-Fi has some troubles. Expensive (like all Swizerland)
Not so easy to find the hotel.
Great location for where I wanted to be. Good if basic accommodation.
No air conditioning and had to go into the outside hall to get wifi
Quiet area, not too far from the city center. Appartment with all necessary things in the kitchen.
Poor Wi-Fi. Sometimes impossible to connect.
Location is good Price is good
Wifi is not accessible or at best very bad Imposible to get to reception in non working hours. bad for Business travel Not very helpfoul personel, when contacted no Problem Resolution and no Feedback from their part. Double billing of the stay by Nova residence
I was lucky to have a rather nice balcony. It was cool to stand out there and look out at the park like grounds across the street.
This is the most outdated hotel I have ever stayed in. TV was an old 9 inch CRT monitor with 10 channels. The room and entire facility was very early 90's, drab. The location isn't the best. It almost feels like a suburb of Zurich. Not much around except for a single restaurant at the end of the street. Not convenient for people without a vehicle. Long walk up and over a hill to get to the more happening part of Zurich. Public transit in the area is minimal as well. Additionally, there is no staff on site. I booked the "hotel" the day before, and didn't receive any directions on how to access my room until late that night. I had not checked my email, so when I arrived at the location I was stuck outside for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. Luckily I had a phone and was able to call for help. They responded within 10 min.
Easy to get to Sihlcity mall, and HB Zurich rail center by public transport
They realized that they had overcharged me and immediately gave me a refund of the overcharge in cash with a note of apology Cleanliness
The place is run down
Excellent localization if you are running the Zurich marathon :)
Not clear where key was, had to phone to locate it
The apartment-style rooms are a comfortable and relatively cheap alternative to hotels. The kitchenette helps decrease travel costs by allowing one to purchase inexpensive groceries. I actually picked this place from others because of the workout area, something I found to be limiting to a traveler in Zürich. They've got some equipment that does the trick. But if you're in need of working out and visiting during nice weather, I recommend trying somewhere else and jogging outside. The location is nice for those who want a quiet area of the city with easy transit access to the center and elsewhere. Shops are within a 15 minute walk, it's very pleasant.
The wifi internet is provided through two networks, each of which became overloaded, especially evenings and nights. Internet quality was low enough that tasks such as skype are difficult to implement. Cleanliness was OK, but not perfect. Minor issues such as long hairs on the bedsheets, left-over food in the microwave, and grime in the water boiler did decrease the quality of the place. However, these were not large issues (there were no pests, the bathroom was clean…).
staff was very nice and helpful.
