Good hotel with good room facility. Clean and quiete although close to the main road. The staff was not available when requied at the reception. We had to wait endlessly.

The hotel was closed when we arrived yet on your website it still said that there was one room left after we booked. Very poor planning on their part. thank goodness we found another hotel but the whole area was shut down.

Clean, large room. Washroom was small, and the shower even uncomfortable. Little oldish, would require reconstruction, at least the room we had. Service good, large breakfast. Receptionist was from england, she spoke very nice english. Walking distance (20 min) from the Stein am Rhein, which is The reason for anyone to come here. Nothing really. The place was full, but yet we had a (free) parking place.

Nice staff, short 10 min walk on a pretty lane to Stein am Rhein, and very very clean room. A nice stay at Grenzstein, nice breakfast, much better value than other hotels located in Stein am Rhein itself. Would stay again.

Wenn ich ganz ehrlich sein soll, eigentlich nichts. Das einzige was mir positiv aufgefallen ist, war, dass das Abendessen ( Menü ) für die Schweiz günstig und gut war (20€ für Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Desert). Frühstück war sehr bescheiden. Zimmer waren sehr klein, das Licht in der Dusche/Bad zu dunkel. Für umgerechnet 70€ kann man was besseres erwarten. Wir sind am Anreisetag Abends zwischen 20 und 20:30Uhr gekommen. Unsere Zimmer waren nicht gemacht !!! Das Pesonal machte zum Teil einen überforderten Eindruck.

La chambre propre et spacieuse. L'espace pour le petit-déjeuner (jardin d'hiver). Le fait qu'il ne nous a rien été demandé si pour le chien, ni pour le parking.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr in Ordnung! Für relativ wenig Geld bekam ich ein sauberes, gemütliches, kleines Zimmer mit Balkon, in sehr gutem Zustand, mit Aussicht und nachts ruhig. Ich schätzte die persönliche Fürsorge, die der Besitzer an den Tag legte. Ich fühlte mich willkommen und zu Hause. Der Tankstellenshop gegenüber ist sehr praktisch. Ich würde ein ander Mal wieder da hingehen. Ich würde es auch empfehlen, wenn ich weiss, das die Leute nicht auf Luxus aus sind.

Personnel insuffisant et dépassé, incapable de répondre à une quelconque question. Administration brouillonne à faire peur . Carte de menu quasi inexistante. Impression générale : établissement en fin de course. Positif : propreté de la chambre et en général.

Le camere sul retro sono molto silenzione, mentre quelle che si affacciano sulla strada potrebbero risultare rumorose. La colazione viene servita in una specie di serrra, carino. Per uscire dalla doccia bisogna quasi essere degli atleti in quanto è rialzata di circa 30 cm. Un po' scomodo ma è l'unico inconveniente.

Hôtel à budget réduit à proximité immédiate de la charmante petite ville de Stein am Rhein ( promenade le soir à pied !) la vue sur le Rhin et les coteaux est perturbée par la station service en face de l'hôtel.

Bár minden berendezés a célszerűséget szolgálta, nem ajánlanám több napos tartózkodásra. Ahhoz tökéletes, hogy kiinduló pontja legyen ahhoz, hogy az ember egy kellemes estét, délutánt, esetleg délelőttöt töltsön el az óvárosban

Ruhige Lage,wenn Zimmer nach der Bergseite liegen.Kein Aufpreis für Hunde,doch dafür Hundeverbot im sog.Frühstücksgarten.(-) Lächerliches Frühstücksbuffet,so dass man gezwungen war,außerhalb zu frühstücken. Unfreundliches (männliches) Personal,kein Fön im Zimmer,nur auf Verlangen,Fenster aus den 60 er Jahren,durch die es reinregnete.Tankstelle gegenüber dem Hoteleingang,wovon keine Rede war.Das gesamte Gebäude ist stark renovierungsbedürftig und bietet zu dem Preis von chf 130 für ein dz nicht den zu erwartenden Komfort.Muffiger Geruch im gesamten Hotel.

La situation, facile d'accès, à la sortie de la magnifique petite ville de stein-am-rhein, l'endroit pittoresque juste à côté du poste frontière allemand et la vue très ouverte sur la campagne bordant le Rhin. L'accueil assez froid de la personne lorsque je me suis présenté à la réception, et le non respect des conditions tarifaires lors de la réservation en ligne sur booking.com. J'ai payé bien plus que ce qui figurait sur mon reçu de confirmation (en Français) que j'ai pourtant présenté.
