Friendly stuff and hotel owner, fast accomodation. Excellent and detailed explanation about local facilities. Nice bar with tasty local dark beer. 3-5 minutes walk to the railway station. Separate access to ski room on the 1st floor was not prepared in the morning - very slippery because of morning icing on sloping way. Stuff should care about it prior first skiers and quests will leave the hotel. |

Location, room, price, staff were great. Breakfast was modest, but very delicious. Price asked from us was higher than booked on booking.com and they have 1.6% commission for payment with visa. |

The fact that they accepted our dogs. It is very hard to find accommodation that allows us to have holidays with our dogs. The region is excellent for dogs and they were free on the cable cars. |

Staff were friendly, room was clean & comfortable & quiet, elevator, free internet available in lobby, good location, not far to walk to train station, etc. Additional breakfast charge was 18 euro per person! - we decided to pass on this and we ate elsewhere |

we enjoyed our staying very much. the hotel was very cosy and worm with its decorations and the staff who were very nice and welcoming. the standard room was too small and very noisy due to the neighbors upstairs. we decided to change the room for another on the last floor which was great. |

The views from the bedroom and the balcony were magnificent. Some of the staff were very friendly. The hotel was well situated in the centre of the town adn provided information on what to do. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Some of the staff were not too friendly. The breakfast was poor with only adequate service. The shower curtain kept collapsing, not a major problem but could do with being fixed.. |

Our room had a large balcony with an absolutely stunning view of the mountains, valley, and waterfalls. The room and its furnishings were fairly basic, but it was very clean and the beds and bedding were comfortable. The hotel was located about a 5 minute walk from the train station and cable car, and near shops and restaurants. The staff did go out of their way to help us locate the pharmacy which was difficult to find. The internet Wi-Fi was not reliable and could only really be used in the lobby of the hotel, if at all. They did have a computer in the lobby for guests to use, but it didn't have a printer. |

Free internet 1St night we paid 145 franks for a closet: no mirror, no wc, no chair, no sink, no tv, no clock, no phone, no room for 2 people to move around. Had two twin beds, night stand, and cupboard for clothes. Outrageous. Better room for less could be found at hostel down the road. I talked to manager and they gave us a different room the next night, but wanted to charge us 50 franks more. Did not included breakfast for that price either. |

Nice view of the falls from our deck. Good location for day trips. The staff was not very friendly. The place definitely needs to be redecorated. It was dated and ugly. Not the cleanest either. Way overpriced. |

The town of Lauterbrunnen and the area with all the waterfalls was stunning. Even better were the surrounding valleys. 1. They tried to get us to moove rooms during our stay as they did not have the same room available for 2 consecutive nights. They only told us this when I rang them to confirm that they had indeed received the booking. 2. Breakfast was not included, I was not able to book breakfast through Booking .com, and this made the stay significantly more expensive and at 18 CHFs it was not worth it. 3. The room was small and dark and nothing like the pictures on the booking.com website and was certainly not suitable for 2 adults and a child even though it should have been large enough for 3 adults (it was a triple room) . 4. The service in the restaurant was appalling, food reheated, items missing from the meal and all compalints were ignored. |

The hotel was outdated, uncomfortable, and overpriced. The hotel room was very small, even by European standards. Our room had a seven foot ceiling. In addition, the room was very noisy. We heard every foot step from the room above, especially in the morning during maid service. There was also excessive road noise and noise from customers at the restaurant directly below the window. Finally, the hotel charged an additional "service fee" for paying by credit card. Of the five hotels where we stayed during our trip to Switzerland, this was the only hotel to charge in excess of the confirmed booking price. The hotel simply was not a good experience or value. |

The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed our room which was clean and had a spectacular view. We had a kitchenette but nothing to use in it, so, if you plan to prep anything be sure top bring knives, forks, something to cut on etc.... |

Lauterbrunnen was a great location: central to many lifts and to some great waterfalls. The hotel staff patiently and helpfully answered all our sightseeing questions and made phone calls to attractions at our request. |
