The worst hotel that I've stayed at in years (and if anyone could see some of the hotels that I stayed at in African and Latin America - that's quite and accomplishment). The rooms are so outdated, they are almost back in style. The walls are so thin that you can hear next door conversations like you're in the room. Suprisingly, this hotel was most expensive of our trip (which included Salsburg and Zurich). Unless you're a backpacker, it is best to stay somewhere else. |

The lake area of Luzern was outstanding. The Steghof offered a buffet breakfast and it was very minimal and not appealing to our tastes. But, it did appear to be clean and the owner [who lives on premise] was very accomodating and was was kind enough to care for our needs even though our group arrived after 2200 hrs. No air conditioning is one thing, but being right next to the rr tracks and needing to keep windows open made sleeping next to impossible. There were six in our group. One double room and one triple room and one single.. The double room had been "remodeled" slightly . .. . but the triple was original . .. . The carpet really needs to be replaced - as the other rooms have been. It is family run and fthey are fixing it up as time goes on. |

Non abbiamo trovato alcun aspetto apprezzabile nel corso del nostro soggiorno presso l'hotel-restaurant steghof. La pulizia delle camere,praticamente assente,arredamento vecchio e consunto bagno non funzionale eobsoleto, colazione scarsa e priva di scelta; prezzo troppo elevato in rapporto a questi disservizi. |

Hoewel ik positief ingesteld ben heb ik niets te melden over dit hotel. Zeer oude en gedateerde voorziening. Er was ondanks de grote van het hotel niemand aanwezig en nadat we hadden gebeld kwam er iemand. De kamer was oud, vies en gaten in de lakens. In de badkamer hingen drie verschillende handdoeken. Indien iemand een film wil maken over 1973 dan is dit hotel een aanrader. Om te overnachten zou ik iets anders kiezen! Op mijn vraag aan de eigenaar/ concerge/ ??? waar we iets konden eten kregen we te horen dat de cafetaria bij hem in de straat goed was. Tja ...vergeten dus! Jammer van de 160,00 euro. |

Niets behalve de ligging ten opzichte van het beurscomplex waar ik naar toe moest. Het hotel Steghof is vergane glorie en voldoet niet aan de huidige comfort standaard . Geen restaurant en/of bar service meer. Geen personeel of receptie meer aanwezig na 18:00 uur. Iedere dag kwam aan het einde van de dag een touringcar vol Aziatische gasten aan en vulde het hotel tot in de nok! Veel lawaai. De Kamers zijn schamel en zeer gehorig. |
