We booked as an HOTEL! what we were told when we arrived was that they were 1st and foremost a BAKERY TRAINING FACILITY and ran the hotel as a sideline. Our room was basic and breakfast was served with customers visiting the bakery shop on the ground floor, which was very busy. No wonder you have to be there before 5pm. Not an ideal situation.
lake side quiet place additional bed a child all kinds of breads and cakes
10 stops away from the train station
Friendly staff and good breakfast
- Free wifi
You have to pay for parking and very rude staff!
We stayed here only one night. But staff was so kind. they explain detailed where amenities is.
Super nice people - very helpful
the rooms were a little sterile, but I knew that going in, so it was not a problem., We liked everything
Excellent position and professional and friendly staff.
Location was very good with the bus stop right outside the door and regular buses. Lake area across the road was really pretty.
We had issues with our keys. Got locked out of our room after reception hours because the key wouldn't work, and had to call security. There was someone on site who was able to reset the key but the following morning we couldn't get out of our room. Would not be good in an emergency. Had to phone reception to get someone to let us out with the master key. Breakfast was not great. Maybe we weren't there early enough because we had issues getting out of our room, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. Swiss power points are not compatible with Europe chargers, so be aware.
Personnelle très sympatique.
The room was big and the bathroom was also big enough.
There was only bread in breakfast.. However the bread was really really good because the hotel makes its own bread everyday..
Jonas at reception was very friendly, printed some documents i needed without any complaints! Good view of sunset at the shore nearby
Breakfast costs a whopping 26CHF for bread, cheese, jam, cereal, yoghurt and coffee. No eggs or meat - poor value. Go to Seeburg hotel next door for 24CHF, with all cooked eggs included
Strange check in
Great and friendly staff. Good breakfast and conveniently located.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luzern. The location is perfect. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel and is very convenient. There is a lake in front of the hotel and is very beautiful.
The Bed should be replaced. We had back pain during our stay. No Kettle.
A great diversity of delicious bread at breakfast. The hotel is next to the lake and the view is so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bed sheet was more like a protection for the mattress.
Near the lake good view
Trpt needed to get to hotel.proper planning required
The location is great, the bus stops near the hotel. Center of Luzern is reached in minutes. It is a basic room, with comfy beds. The breakfast on Sunday: a lot of bread to choose from! Parking is available in the garage for 12 CHF.
The hotel is located above a bakery school, so it is not a usual hotel. When the facility is closed, only a side entrance is open. You have to get out the building, walk through the garage entrance to get to your car.
the location-cross the street is just the lake
no staff can be found after 17:00pm due to off-work
The restaurant offers a good variety of meals, especially the choice in vegetarian option
This is not the fault of the hotel, but the transportation connections are poor on Sundays
This is a real find. The rooms are the dorm rooms for people attending the on site confectionery school. The school is dedicated to excellence and it shows in everything about this place. The manager and the woman at the front desk who spoke English acted like they couldn't do enough to make sure I was satisfied about every possible detail. My room had a partial view of the lake, which is right across the street. The rooms are large, airy, clean, and include 2 twin beds and 2 desks so there's lots of space to spread out. I wasn't able to attend the weekend brunch but it must be fantastic - every seat inside, outside, and in a large conference room was taken. The location is only a few bus stops from the city center with frequent bus service so it was convenient. Another plus was that the park across the street was much less crowded and more serene than the parks in the city center.
The breakfast is quite good.
the location..No food store around and only some expensive hotel resturants.
views from room, close proximity to public transport, friendliness of all staff,
no kettle for tea or coffee in room to make hot drink
The curtain is white color is not so good as it's allow light come in in the morning before wake up
Breakfast is amazing! So many wonderful breads to try.
Lack of clear instructions about double locking of interior door at the top of the stairs after 5pm. Could be quite stressful late at night if not able to gain entry
It take 20minutes train station to hotel. it's not close just breakfast is good.
They close after 6 pm they didn't explain anything about it get away. we asked next hotel and we can enter in. terrible service
