The hotel is beautifull located at the lake (vierwalderstattersee) surrounded by mountains. It is a good preserved old building along an small boulevard. You can park your car at the backside of the hotel. The parking is private but public accessable. The staff is friendly, speak englisch and give us and our dogs a warm welcome. We had a spacious room with an big terras on the first floor. The choice and quality of the food is excellent, especially the "spargles mit parmaschinken". The prices are fair. For travellers to or in our case from Italy it is a good stop for à night over. It is close by the main highway.

Located on beautiful Lake Luzern surrounded by mountains. Historical hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent dining. Good included breakfast buffet for Switzerland. As an old hotel it has small rooms and baths. Advertised as '4 star' which is a stretch. Expect to pay heavily for everything.

Er was in de maand september "zweedse buffet". Het eten was zéér lekker, perfecte bediening en zeer goed restaurant. Hotel wordt stilletjes vergane glorie. Het is véél te duur.

Ideaal voor onze doorreis naar Italie. Onze kamer was ruim zodat het babybedje er gemakkelijk bij kon staan. Het uitzicht vanaf het (kleine) balkon over het Vierwoudstedenmeer is fantastische.

Die excellente Lage des Hauses und die nette Bedinung beim Frühstück durch Frau Esther. Einigermaßen gut renovierter Restaurantbereich mit erhaltenem Jugendstilambiente. Die Nasszelle ist neu und der Kategorie entsprechend. Seitens des Cehfs sehr unpersönlich. Hilfe beim Gepäck offenbar nicht vorhanden, nicht einmal angeboten. Riesige Schlüssel, die man immer mittragen sollte, da der Eingang am späteren Abend versperrt wird. Keine Reaktion auf die Nachtklingel. Die Zimmer wirken abgewohnt bzw sind es auch. Die Ausstattung scheint bei dieser Kategorie reichlich "unterboten" (z.B. minikleines altes Röhren TV Gerät, der Teppichboden zeigte Flecken, offensichtlich standen früher die Betten anders, der Couchbezug ebenfalls bei genauem Hinsehen zwar von alten Flecken gereinigt aber nicht wirklich einladend sauber, unschöne Boden - Randleisten aus Kunststoff.

Het hotel is prachtig gelegen. Vriendelijk personeel. Ruime, wat verouderde kamers, maar met zeer mooi uitzicht. Parking bij het Hotel. Goed restaurant. De zeer dure Zwitserse frank verstoord de prijs/kwaliteit balans

Direkt am See, sehr ruhige Lage, Zimmer 44 mit Blick auf den See, kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus,Tagesessen sehr lecker (20,00 €), Kartengerichte auch sehr lecker, aber etwas teuer (ist halt die Schweiz). Alle Mitarbeiter und der Chef waren sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für unseren Hund ( Dackelmädchen ) wurde nichts berechnet, anders als bei den Abzocker-Ketten (Doppelzimmer von der Größe einer Pferdebox 45,00 €, Frühstück 2x15,00 €, Hund 15,00 € ->ohne eine Leistug zu erbringen). Zimmerfernseher in "Postkartengröße"

Alles goed verzorgd en comfortabel. Prettige ligging voor onze doorreis en perfect voor de kids. Voor een nacht als doorreis naar Italie is het pittig geprijsd. De ligging is top, het is een mooi hotel, maar kan zeker wel wat gemoderniseerd worden. Het ontbijt kwam later op gang dan was verteld en we wilden graag op tijd vertrekken, dus dat was een beetje jammer.

Prachtige ligging aan Vierwoudstedenmeer. Handige locatie voor tussenstop. Zeer rustige omgeving. Ouderwets-degelijke Zwitserse service en comfort. Aardig en efficient hotelpersoneel. Zeer ruime kamer, schoon en goed verzorgd. Uitstekende ontbijtservice. Goed restaurant. Voor niet-Zwitsers is de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding wat aan de hoge kant.
