The perfect location, just few minutes to the "old city". Also there is a good restourant "Harmony" which is 5 minutes by walk from the hotel. To insulate the windows, it's quite noisy when the room looks onto the street. |

The Hotel location was very practical, very near the shops and River. Don't hesitate to explore and walk around. Only stayed the night but liked it very much. Just need to get two buses from Airport, which you do not have to pay for as long as you have your booking confirmation on hand if asked to show. The buses are 50 and then the 36. Ask driver where to get off. In all, it was a very enjoyable experience and nice breakfast. Free bottle of water would have been nice when get in. |

The hotel's personnel was extremely nice,polite and helpfull.Very nice idea to give a free pass for all public transport.Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. |

I like hospitality and provenance of the personal; I felt myself at easy and simply forgot I'm not at home! Food was great and small roses in the restaurant made our breakfast unforgettable! If I came here once again, I’d definitely stay in Rochat! Maybe to add more engligh channel on TV! |

Endowed with an excellent position in the very heart of Basel, near the left side of the River Rhine, this nice hotel is far more comfortable than most 2 stars ones. The breakfast is good and the staff very kind and friendly. The prices they ask at the moment of booking are not completely reliable. |

The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. It was clean and friendly....you really cannot fault it. Its really breakfast only as the lunchtime menu is very limited and nothing in the evening, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the City. Excellent Hotel and excellent staff. |

A good value, good location and great staff- but the St. Peterskirche next to hotel likes to ring its bells at 07.00 for 20secs. All in all, one of the better priced hotels in Basel and very close to Schifflände/Marktplatz and Spalentor- no wireless or wired in-room internet, although it was suggested the wireless internet was "not working". |

I came very late and was still welcommed. The bathroom was good, the bed was good, I was waken at the time I requested. Breakfast was good, so I was very happy customer, and whenever in Basel I will stay at your hotel again |
