Good size room. but try your luck for the bathroom, the size are vary.

Small lobby/reception area, which certainly undermine the image of the hotel.

This hotel is full of charm. Friendly staff, nice restaurants and the rooms are nicely decorated and updated.

It would be nice if there was air conditioning but understand the problem with older buildings.

It may not be convenient for the guests who don't live in the rooms on 2nd floor where you place the only coffee machine.

    - despite the fact that this historic inn was built centruies ago the rooms and beds seem to get better with each stay. They have done a marvelous job maintaining this Hotel.

This is an excellent hotel. It is located in a relatively quiet location right in the center of the Old City. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Chapel Bridge and 10 minute walk to the train station and to the boat pier. The room was tastefully decorated, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

I love the old style of the building, close to every thing, beautiful breakfast and great hospitality. My husband & I found our whole experience very romantic and would love to return one day.

We love the cosy feel of the hotel with much character and the staff was great including the housekeepers as well as the coffee making facilities on the floor.

We had a hard time locating the property as it is tucked away behind the main pedestrian street. It took abit of looking, proper signage close to the hotel on the main street would be helpful.

The bathroom was large, modern and I'd give it 5*s. We loved being able to keep the windows open at night and let the fresh air in. It was very quiet.

The mattress was a bit hard and uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. We got around this by asking for a 2nd duvet, which we used to make the bed softer.

Great location, nice size room accommodations. Staff was very attentive and efficient; we will stay again on our next trip. Considering the location, service and ambience of this historic hotel this was a great value for the cost!

The hotel in itself - it's very characterful with loads of 'old' features. Location is excellent - 10 mins walk from rail station, just across the bridge from the old town, near a no. Of good museums (Rosengart art museum - excellent). Breakfast included and offered a lot of options. In house restaurants good (we eat in the Bugerstube (more relaxed atmosphere I'd say) and other good restaurants near by if/when you need a change. Bedroom was very spacious and bathroom worked very well with separate modern shower. If in Luzern, we would stay there again.

Nothing really. It all worked well. Note that if you want access to wfi you need to pay which in todays age may seem a bit mean. However, must say that the connection was very good and never failed us. Value for money - by Swiss standards it's fair / good but may seem expensive for those used to more European prices.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was accommodating to my vegan diet. The hotel is centrally located. It was very nice to have access to tea and coffee at all hours.

Larger than normal room for Europe. Breakfast was great.

Second day staying , no bottled water given for our room. No ice or ice bucket even after we had asked.
