The hotel was nice and clean. Took us about 10 minutes walk with luggages from the train station. The hotel is conveniently located in the old town area, very near to the famous bridge. There's a espresso/cappuccino machine on our floor (I guess there's one on every floor). Nice touch for a 4-star hotel. Stayed for only one night. Didn't find anything wrong. |

Cleaning staff excellent. Cuisine standard also to be thoroughly recommended. Old world charm exactly as described in brochure. Return visit a probability! Some steet noise from revellers - but unavoidable given the location |

Exceptional staff. Very Old World European -- the way hotels used to be. SImple yet elegant. Staff always eager to assist and provide your requests. Immaculate rooms. Charming location. Not touristy. Great price even with a bad dollar. yes, I wasn't able to book another room at a later date. Everything was booked! |

The position, the entrance, the old furniture in halls, the pictures on the walls, the bed and the view through window on the city roofs, and breakfast are to remember. The noise at night, from the street. |

the staff were absolutely friendly and so helpful in providingus with info bout the city. Besides we got a free upgrade, which was totally great. The room gave a real cozy feel to it and was comfortable. Wish there were more english channels besides CNN, BBC and etc. |

great staff... breakfast selection was 4 star. Great location as well in the city. bath room was small and the bed was very squeaky... i'm sure the neighbors didnt appreaciate it :) |

the staff were very welcoming and helpful. we received a room upgrade. the hotel is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. would have liked tea making facilities in the room. |

The hotel could not have been more central to everything. We were worried about the car parking but, the undercover car park was only 50 yards away but at 25 francs a day, somewhat expensive. |

Excellent location in Lucerne Switzerland and proximity to everything. Wonderful room with excellent amenities, comfortable beds and breakfast included. The hotel staff were all polite and very helpful in every way. The price is a little high but everything in Lucerne was expensive. |

The girl who was working the front desk both when we checked in and checked out was incredibly informative and helpful. Great personality. We had no idea that we had checked in right before Fasnacht, Lucerne's big celebration to kick off Carnevale. She explained the whole event to us and warned us that we would be woken up at 5 am by a cannon boom and marching bands. |

We were not informed that due to caranaval a reservation i nthe restaurant was not possible. Also there was no possibility to get room service. ALthough this can happen they should have been able to offer us alternatives (e.g. book a restaurant for us somerwhere else). No we had to find our own solution. |
