The location was convenient for the activities we had planned. There were very few dining options. We used the hotel dining room as there were no other options while we were there. The food was acceptable, but not as good as other places we stayed. The room itself was odd: the shower and sink were actually in the room, instead of in their own enclosure. There was a shower curtain dividing the shower "area" for privacy. It almost felt like a hostel. |

Some useful features, such as coin operated washing machine and a lift directly onto the car park. Excellent location for Pilatus, Luzern (train and ferry services to city centre right from the hotel) The tiniest bathroom ever, literally just room for a shower and a toilet; the washbasin was in the bedroom - and this in a 'purpose built' hotel. Hotels like this really should get out of the habit of chargng extortionate rates for wireless internet; this was the most expensive hotel on our tour (ok, it is Switzerland) and one of only 2 where internet was not free. |

Very close to Alphnachstad Rail station (trains into Zurich only take 20 minutes and usually run every half hour). Also close to the lake ferry and Pilatus Funicular. Proved to be a really good alternative to staying right in Zurich (and a lot cheaper). Restaurant and laundry available if required. Friendly staff. Wi-fi access is not cheap. |

The familiar-run Seehotel Riviera is situated in the small bay of Gersau at Lake Lucerne, surrounded by a marvellous mountain scenery. Palm and fig trees lend this little town a Mediterranean flair. |
The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft, between the birthplace and the residence of the Swiss patron saint Niklaus von Flüe (Bruder Klaus). |
The hotel is located in the heart of central Switzerland, right by the banks of Lake Lucerne in picturesque Horw Bay, only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne. |
On a sunny terrace, embedded in meadows and forests, you will enjoy a wonderful view onto the surrounding mountains. |
