The Royal Park Hotel is small country hotel with an exclusive atmosphere and a touch of nostalgia in the traditional village of Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland.

Enjoy classical, bright interiors with wooden ceilings and white walls, the pleasant atmosphere in the wide, light-flooded lounges and restaurants, and the fireplaces where a sizzling fire is lit up in the evenings to provide a cozy atmosphere.

Set on 2.5 acres with old trees and well-groomed lawn, the hotel boasts the “Private Beauty and Health Resort & Spa”. It features a new, 1,184 ft² natural, chlorine-free, self-cleaning swimming pool, as well as an indoor pool (1,300 ft², 86°F) and numerous spa treatments and health services. Guests can enjoy tranquility and wonderful, unobstructed views of snow-white glaciers, stretching up to 11,800 ft above sea level in the “Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn” UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel offers a multitude of year-round recreational activities and excursions in the surrounding area.

The Restaurant Français offers specialties from a varied dining menu in a very private atmosphere.

The Taverna Rustica is a traditional restaurant for informal evenings and serves Swiss specialties and small dishes.

The rooms and suites are furnished in classical styles (Louis XV, Louis XVI, Renaissance) and are decorated in soft colors. Highest elegance is combined with the most modern comfort for a charming and cozy atmosphere.

Area information

The hotel’s exceptional position lets you easily reach the northern and southern sides of the Alps because of the nearby Lötschberg Tunnel crossing the mountains. Hotel hors de prix par rapport à la prestation ; tres deçus et de surcroit sentiment de s etre fait avoir et volé; pas satisfaite du tout nous avons paye 3000.00 euro pour trois jours uniquement avec le petit dejeuner qui etait à mon sens indigne d un hotel qui se prétend etre un cinq etoiles. La catégorie de l hotel est à revoir d urgence et les prix des chambres avec.
