The Royal Plaza Montreux is the only 5-star hotel located directly on the shores of Lake Geneva, close to the railway station, city centre, congress centre and much more.

Entirely renovated between 2001 and 2006. Most of its rooms have a lake view with a private balcony. The hotel has 3 restaurants and 2 bars, all with their own terrace, a wellness-centre and a conference centre of 10 rooms which can contain up to 300 people.

The Royal Plaza Montreux offers an idyllic atmosphere for your stay in Montreux. Built in 1982 and completely refurbished at the beginning of the century, The Royal Plaza Montreux is the most modern hotel in town. Its quality service and personalised welcome will make your stay here unforgettable and unique.

The hotel lay-out of 3 restaurants offers 3 different styles of cuisine. There is also 2 bars and a conference centre which can accommodate up to 300 people.

The Spa Atlantis is the ideal place to relax. Let yourself be pampered by the expert hands of the masseuses who will bring you calm and serenity. Moreover, the Spa proposes a large choice of beauty care and treatments.

The personal trainer remains at your entire disposal to advise you in your training program. The Spa Atlantis is composed of a fitness room, a sauna, a hammam, an indoor pool and a Jacuzzi.

The 3 restaurants offer various menus and different inspirations. The 2 bars combine cocktails, as well as afternoon tea & pastries.

La Croisette, a gourmet restaurant, is one of the best in the town. Its menu combines Mediterranean and local products. The Maître d'hôtel, Franco della Chiara, will help you to choose the best wine for your meal. The menu of the restaurant changes several times a year according to the season.

The Café du Lac, lakeside brasserie, provides Italian and Mediterrannean specialities. The antipasti buffet, fresh pastas and risotto will charm most gourmets. You can also choose the traditional perch fillets, Beef Tartar or grilled lamb fillet from the region.

The panoramic restaurant, le Belvédère, hosts each Sunday from 12:00 to 14:00 its famous Brunch. Combining cold and hot, sweet and savoury dishes. The Belvédère is perfect for organising banquets or themed evenings and food festivals.

The Sunset Bar offers a good choice of snacks and, from 16:00, its dessert trolley. The piano bar, adjacent to the Croisette is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious digestive or a cigar of fame.

All the restaurants and bars have their own terrace facing the lake and the Alps and offer a majestic view.

The room presentation was extremely good - in fact excellent. We liked the lake front proneade - it was beautitifully set out with flower bed for about two kilometers.

Coming back to the UK

Mattress uncomfortable, hotel would not change it, poor mainternance, surly and unwilling to please standard of service

room, bath, balcony. Lovely view.

Very expensive, the rate does not include breakfast, parking and city taxes, which together make the stay very pricey. There was a long female hair hanging on the bath robe. We were two men, but were addressed officially as Mr. and Mrs. on the greeting card and on the TV screen.

Great view!!! And received complimentary water, fruit, and a chocolate bunny for Easter!!

Very nice place with spectacular view of the Lake with very good value for money

Room was not ready upon arrival but front desk was very helpful to store our luggage and to recommend some sightseeing

Please go here for the view ! No road between the hotel and the Lake so this is very quiet. Staff very hepfull and polite, specially at the Front desk where you could find all information needed!
