Beautiful old city. Local people are very friendly for the lost and wandering tourist. If you’re into luxury shops, ornately decorated buildings and atmosphere, Luzern has it all. Fine dining restaurants but you can eat cheaper in a lot of smaller establishments. Close to the Pilatus, Titlis, Vierwaldstaettersee and those picturesque wooden bridges over the Reuss.

Lucern is one of the most beautiful city in Switzerland.
Lucern is one of the most beautiful city in Switzerland. Occasionally we stayed there during a Carnival (Luzern Fastnacht) . We enjoyed the show. The city itself is amazing. If you visit Lucern , don’t forget to visit also the Verkehrshaus.

We were weighing up whether to stay in Lucerne or Zurich and were so pleased that we chose Lucerne. The old town is beautiful, very safe and spotlessly clean. The train station is very central and the boats for the lake cruises are really easy to access. It was like being in a postcard picture with beautiful views everywhere. We found both the accommodation and food better value for money in Lucerne and would definitely recommend it for a 2-3 night stay.

Great city, lots to do, lovely, friendly and helpful people...
Great city, lots to do, lovely, friendly and helpful people in every part of the city the people all very relaxed. the city it self it is like to life in a picture. On the first day I had the feeling is all not real.the is clean and well looked after and in every part is history or a fiewing point and when you turn round you see always something new and nice.
A perfect capsule hotel located at the heart of Lucerne! Basically, it’s easy to get around from the hotel to main tourist attractions in the city. The capsule room area is spacious enough and perfect for solo travellers. The bed is bigger than enough for one person to sleep comfortably; the shower and restroom area is very clean; the lighting style inside the capsule is adjustable; plus, there are several power plugs/sockets in one capsule! Personally, I feel that every design in this capsule hotel considers the traveller’s needs!
I was traveling to Switzerland with my mom for a week and stayed at multiple hotels through Zurich, Zermatt, Interlaken, and Lucerne. I could proudly say that the hospitality and accommodation from this hotel topped all the other hotels. The hosts were very welcoming and sweet that made my trip to Lucerne extra special. I also enjoyed the food from their restraint downstairs, it was very delicious. If I were to come back to Lucerne, I would come back to this hotel.
The hotel was around 700meters away from Lucerne station. It was near the public transport and I loved that the hotel provides guest card to be use for free public transport around the town. It offers breakfast as an option too. The room was very clean. Staff were accomodating and friendly. I loved that they allow early check in for us with only minimal fee . They also provide free hot water from the lobby.
Lucerne has to be one of my favourite places to visit in Switzerland. The hotel is just a short bus ride from the station, very easy to find. The staff at this hotel could not have been any friendlier or more accommodating for us. The view from the room over the lake was just spectacular. We also enjoyed the sunset bar across the road. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely, a good selection of food/juices.
We booked the room with Chapel Bridge view which was amazing seeing this beautiful bridge in the morning and at night. The bed and pillows are comfy. The location is not far from Lucerne train station, just crossing the bridge. Every tourist attraction is in walking distance from the hotel. The luggage can be placed at the hotel prior to check-in time (15:00).
They gave Chocolate as a welcome snack :)
We stayed in the Annex building, very modern and clean with large shower. When we walk out the building and turn left, the river is right in front of you. It’s a short walk from train station. The breakfast is delicious and bountiful, Martin and rest of staff are very helpful and provide excellent service, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Lucerne.
Fantastic location and views, bed was comfortable, easy access to the city of Lucerne but away from the bustle. more exceptional than the hotel was the friendliness and courtesy
of it's staff in particular Valentina, who took noticed of my injured knee and provided unsolicited assistance with my luggage.
Good, basic European hotel with wonderful front desk staff and a cozy, pleasant dining room with a fantastic breakfast. Centrally located in Lucerne. Rooms were spotless. Loved the arranged, special rate parking (25 E/day) in garage just a block away. If driving be sure and take advantage of that.
Great location right at the lake. I traveled from the Lucerne train station to the hotel by bus, and it was very easy. The building is vintage, but the room was very clean. Its restaurant has a fantastic view, and the old elevator was fun to ride (although small space). Overall, it's worth its price.
Hotel is near to the railway station from where you can travel to lucerne Station.
Also the hotel is near to Morges supermarket.
Hotel staff was friendly also they provided a city card which can be used to access local train and a free WiFi from lucerne.com which was accessible within Lucerne.
Easy to get into Lucerne on bus with free bus pass. Bus stop right outside hotel. Breakfast good. Reception has a staffed travel desk which was helpful. Seperate toilet with sink. Easy to access Lake Lucerne with nice swimming and walking areas.
Well located, there are a lot to explore. The price per night is reasonable considering the extravagant prices in Switzerland. Still one extraordinary experience. We will definitely go back. The hotel has a very interesting history.
The hotel was at a great location that was close to the train station. The free Lucerne train and bus pass that I received upon check in was so helpful during my stay in Lucerne
The property is beautifully done up and the funicular taking us up and down from the hotel is excellent. Bus stop right next door so very convenient for getting around lucerne.
Love this hotel and restaurant and that's why we keep coming back. The food really is something else. Expensive yes but this is Switzerland and it comes with the territory.
The most amazing views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps from this hotel. A bit far from the city but a shuttle bus takes you and picks you up every 15 minutes.
