I don't think that the small slant and some steps could be a con, as others rewiewers pointed, moreover: the view is astonishing, the family who runs the hotel is always willing to help... so a hotel to stay while in Lucerne. |

We stayed in room 10 and it was spotless, bright and airy, very quiet and the view was absolutely unbelievable. The hotel staff were efficient and knowledgeable and suggested a few outings which were very successful. |

The receptionist was very obliging and very pleasant the room had a fabulous view but the facilities were quite run down for such a beautiful hotel There were no tea and cofee making facilities in the room which I would expect for the price we paid |

Friendly staff,spacy rooms, easy parking conditions, very nice view,even better than luxury hotels which are next to the lake. Bathroom not so spacy and a bit old-fashioned. No 'tasty' eggs possible at breakfast |

The view from the balcon of my room was superb! Luzern and lake at my feet!!! Also excellent was the behaviour of the staff. It is located quite far from the city centre. |

The hotel staff at the Royal were exceptional. So happy, friendly and helpful. The south facing rooms have the most amazing view of Lake Luzern and the mountains. The rooms are a bit basic, but just fine. The bath room was tiny, but it is Europe. Everything was clean and in working order. |

I loved the view from my room on the fourth floor over looking the lake. The staff were excellent. When I checked in to the hotel, the receptionist recognised from my passport that it was my birthday and provided me with a beer at no charge. Great breakfast, excellent friendly helpful staff. No. It would be nice to have wifi available in the room. |

Het is een rustig hotel in een rustige buurt, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamer was sober, geen mogelijkheid tot het zetten van een kop thee o.i.d. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar voldeed. Gezien de prijs hadden we iets meer verwacht. |

Das Hotel ist in privaten Händen, das merkt man sehr positiv. Gebucht wurde ein Zimmer mit Bergblick, ich bekam ein Zimmer mit Seeblick ohne Aufpreis. Freundlich, tolle Atmosphäre und ein sensationeller Ausblick auf den See. |

Personeel staat gelijk klaar voor je. Bedden waren top, te lekker, kon niet meer wakker worden.... Parkeren is een ramp!!!! Of parkeergarage stond ver af van Hotel je auto kon je parkeren als er uberhaupt plaats was op straat, bumper tegen bumper. |

het personeel was vriendelijk de kamers waren dringend toe aan een grondige make-over, bij het binnenkomen van de kamer werd je overvallen door een muffe geur, alsof er gerookt werd( was een niet-rokerskamer). De badkamer was piepklein en heeft betere tijden gekend. De prijs was niet in verhouding met het comfort van de kamer |

Goed ontbijt met vers fruit en een vriendelijke bediening, met uitzicht over het meer van Luzern. Zeer schone kamer, uitstekend. Als er dan een nadeel genoemd moet worden: zeer oude badkamer, maar geen defecten en uiterst schoon! Dus eigenlijk geen probleem! |
