Conveniently located for getting about the city. Relatively quiet for a city location, but the nearby church bells do go off every hour, however they really weren't disruptive. Our room even had a balcony, so we enjoyed a glass a wine and people watching! Parking lot just across the street! Nice restaurant! It was the only hotel on this trip not to have a hair dryer available. |

The location was simply fantastic and the food and service were very good. We loved being right in the middle of Luzerne in such an interesting courtyard. The African music on Friday evening was lovely. I oulw have liked some of the services that are offered in American hotels and that are increasingly important or business travel, but also for the Lucerne festival; Iron in the room with ironing board; emergency sewing kit with black and white etc thread needles and pins and safety pins etc. Also a little pot that offers coffee or tea in the morning before breakfast for early risers. All of these things are standard in hotels in the US today. |

Fantastic location Be sure to ask for a room off the street. There is a night club open until 3AM beneath the hotel. With no air conditioning and on a hot night, we could not open the window because of the noise. |

Very good location for exploring the city. Enjoyed the history of the hotel building. When I checked out, the woman did some computations on the adding machine and computer. She handed my a small piece of paper from the adding machine with a total and nothing else, no itemization, no other numbers on it!! It looked a little pricey to me so I calculated on my own. She had overcharged my exactly $100.00 Euros which did not make any sense since nothing I was charged for was exactly 100 Euros. Since I thought I must be getting scammed, I tried to get her to show me how she came up with that extra 100 Euros, but was brushed off. Be Careful, always check your bill and change from any payment you make. We were in Europe for one month and this happened in restaurants and stores on occasion. |

Location within about 10 mins walk from railway station and close to the Old Town centre. No air conditioning, and no fan available either and it was hot. Staff confused the orders at dinner. Noise of church bell and voices were annoying because we had to have the door open to try and stay cool. |

The hotel is centrally situated and easily reached from the station. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well appointed. The staff were helpful and friendly. One must be able to cope with a church clock which chimes every quarter hour. |

Tasty breakfast and great location to get to trains and boats. It is a challenge to get a good nights sleep. Rooms on one side of the building are over a couple of noisy bars that are busy until early morning and rooms on the other side face a church with bells that ring every quarter of an hour. Ear plugs are essential .... |

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very tasty (we liked that Wilma asked several times if we wanted more coffee - we were given much more attention than one would expect at a buffet breakfast). The hotel is a short walk from the train station and is conveniently located. Although we found the sounds from the square in front of the hotel to add to the ambience, some light sleepers might find the sounds objectionable. The restaurant below closed at 9:30 PM, so the noise didn't go on all night. The church bells across the square rang on the quarter hour, then repeatedly at 9:15 when the school children started their day. We left our window open to soak it all up. |

Good restaurant, good location in a pleasant area just across the river from walking zone. Pretty quiet. No staff at hotel during the morning. Expensive parking (more than indicated on description). Also as a note, there is no breakfast available but cafes are close. |

L'hôtel est situé sur une petite place très calme. Les chambres sont suffisamment grandes et propres. La salle de bain est propre et la douche spacieuse. Le personnel ne rechigne pas à changer les essuies chaque jour si nécessaire L'eglise qui se situe en face de l'hôtel et dont les cloches sonnent le quart d'heure jour et nuit! |

La situation géographique *Lors du réglement de la chambre, le prix indiqué lors de la réservation a été majoré de CHF 30.00 sans réelle explication. Mais après discussion, ce montant a été enlevé. A contrôler donc // Rue un peu bruyante |

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig und trotzdem noch angemessen ruhig für die zentrale Stadtlage, wenn man wir wir ein Zimmer zum Franziskanerplatz hat. Die Parkplatzsituation in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus dirket gegenüber dem Hotel ist ebenfalls für die Lage super. Auch für Gäste mit Hund sehr geeignet. Die Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses inkl. Restaurant hätte ein wenig Frische nötig. |

il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. la struttura è semplice ed essenziale ma non manca nulla per un sereno soggiorno. forse il prezzo è un tantino alto per la categoria di albergo, ma la zona è piuttosto costosa se confrontata con i prezzi italiani |

Eenvoudig hotel midden in het centrum van Luzern. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Parkeren alleen mogelijk in openbare parking tegen normaal tarief wat het duur maakt. Was overigens vooraf bekend bij ons. |

Hôtel bien situé avec sa terrasse sympathique. Très bruyant la nuit à cause du bar situé juste sous les fenêtres laissées ouvertes à cause de la chaleur. Une climatisation et des fenêtres anti-bruit côté parking sont donc indispensables. |

De zeer persoonlijke benadering door het personeel. Zeer ruime kamer (1 kamer appartement met kleine keuken). En er kan goed worden getafeld. Nou, de inrichting van de kamer had wel wat beter gekund: de ruimte werd niet echt benut. |
