Hotel Schöntal  

Great location, just moments away from Filisur railway station. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, and gave the impression that no request would have been too much trouble. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the village and mountains. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good, with a wide variety and very generous portions of everything. Every part of the hotel was well-maintained and spotlessly clean at all times. Above all, Hotel Schöntal was outstanding value for money.

All the staff could not have been more helpful, the food was excellent and so was the service. The room was very plain, but clean. Was a great place to stay only wish we had come back from Bergun for dinner. A wonderful natural spa, just 5 mins drive from the hotel and spectacular scenery all around.

The price of 160chf for a double room was a bit high, but perhaps that is the cost of staying in that region.

Comfortable room. Excellent dinner (Don't miss it!). Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Good access to ski resorts such as Lenzerheide, Davos, Berguen and Savognin (all 15-30 min by car)... Nice spa (3 min by car). This is a second stay for us but we want to come again.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, excellent wifi access, absolutely friendly staff. Coop supermarket at the same building. Reasonable price. I would say at this hotel you feel like you are at home.

Hard to get to the train station - it takes only 8 min., but you need to climb the mountain.

Convenient for travel. The restaurant attached. The friendly staff. The informality. The views and easy shopping at the Co-op! I also liked the sound of cow-bells at all sorts of hours until the evening.

I was priveleged by being placed in the main hotel despite being scheduled for the annex. Probably I benefitted from not haqving a shared bathroom etc.

Great location, there are beautiful villages and nature nearby to explore. The staff was very friendly, the rooms good size and very pleasant and the breakfast was very good. There is free private parking. A restaurant operates in the same building and the menu looked very good, unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it.

Very friendly owners and amazing views on the valley. Free parking, coop just 5 meters from hotel, fantastic restaurant. 5mins driving to Landvasser Viaduct. Central location allows you to get almost everywhere you want in Graubuenden quite fast.

Restaurant prices are definitely over average.

the spaciousness of the room and its got a COOP supermarket in the same building, also the model trains on the dining tables was a lovely touch. Also my gratitude to Marcus, for putting my mind at ease over a matter (credit card woes) that was stressing me out...

We stayed here on a tour of Europe and it was very bearly the best hotel we stated in, beaten for quality only by a 5-star hotel costing twice as much. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. We ate our evening meal on the terrace with wonderful views, and it was also one of the best meals we've had. The owners don't speak much English but we managed to understand one another. Note that there is a Co-op supermarket immediately next door - quiet, attractively integrated, and very convenient! We enjoyed a walk to the Landwasser viaduct about 30 minutes away. Highly recommended hotel.

The owners are very nice and warm welcome. They greeted us in the morning when we are having breakfast. Their conversations are genuine and personalized which make us really feel home away from home. They are attention to details which the hotel is nicely decorated in every corners. It's nothing luxurious but cozy. The room is spacious, clean and bright. The towel provided is clean as well. When you walk along the street, you'll found the houses with interesting design on the external walls.

Since it is built on a hill, It is a bit tiring when we carry the luggage to walk on the slope, but actually It just take about 10 minutes and it is worth as the enviornment is nice.

This was an ideal stopover on a longer trip. The hotel was clean and friendly. We had an enjoyable evening meal and breakfast. We also took advantage of a courtesy return train ride to Davos.

Very friendly staff, wonderful hotel with an awesome view of the mountains from the balcony. I would definitely recomend any one to enjoy their stay here amidst the beautiful valleys of bernina.

The hospitality and kindness of the managers and their concern to the guests wellness was very special. The room was very confortable and the location is perfect for relaxing. It was a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was also very good. Thank you people from Filisur for our nice time in your hotel!

Der weg zum Hotel vom Bahnhof ist im Dunkeln schwer zu finden. Man sollte noch ein Schild auf dem weg stellen mit Hinweis auf die Richtung zum Hotel ca. In der Mitte des Weges. Und mit Koffer ist es sehr schwer vom Bahnhof und zurück zu gehen

Das Hotel wird sehr persönlich geführt und es wird grossen Wert auf die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen gelegt. Das Abendessen und das Frühstücksbuffet waren sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Speziell ist auch die Einkaufmöglichkeit im Supermarkt im gleichen Gebäude!

Das Gebäudeäussere ist nicht gerade ein Bijoux! Das soll jedoch hoffentlich nicht vor einem Hotelbesuch abschrecken. Sonst ist man selber Schuld! ;-)

War sehr familiär, und in einer übersichtlichen Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes Essen, und top Zimmer. Kommen gerne wieder!

Es war sehr sauber und die Gastgeber waren ausserordentlich freundlich. Die Gaststube und der Frühstücksraum sind mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und man fühlt sich wohl, als Gast.
