Relatively cheap for the area and plenty of parking available. Bathroom had mould growing in the shower area. Kitchen only has portable electric stove tops for cooking on and you have to pay for the electricity to run them. |

Views of waterfall and mountains outside, quiet location, cheap We were informed to check-in by 22:00, but we arrived at 20:30 only to find the front office closed. Luckily when we went to the bar they had our room keys! Also if using the main showers downstairs, you need half a franc to pay for hot water, which only lasts about 5 minutes :( |

Excellent value for money (59 CHF for double). Some staff were really nice, others total wagons. Room not cleaned once in four days. |

Good positioning, nice view around the camping, easy accesible. They close reception at 7 or 8 PM. If you need something, there's no one you can talk to. |

Value for money Value for money was good, but the day we had to leave, we would have liked to leave early, and we weren't adviced that reception didn't open till 8 pm so we had to wait |

It's standard backpackers place, even better than what we expected, wasn't too loud. Reception opening hours are a bit short (not like specified here on booking.com), but there's always somebody in the pub next door to take you in :) |

I was a bit nervous about the community bathrooms but it was actually very very clean and quite nice. Much better than what I expected. Also, the section with private rooms had a door that locked and kept it separate from the hostel part with bunk beds, which was nice. The room smelled pretty musty. |

Schützenbach is easily accessible by bus or a short walk from the Lauterbrunnen train station. During the winter season there is actually a free bus service. The staff is helpful and can speak English. The rooms are small but clean with 2xdouble bunks (remember to check the need to bring your own bedding!) Large bus groups are accommodated here and you are warned that it could get noisy but hey, it is a Backpackers. You pay a small fee for a warm shower. We made the mistake of not confirming our arrival date directly with Schützenbach after booking online and they did not have us on the list. We were lucky to still get a room. |

Deborah, the reception staff was extremely helpful and informative. The bar and restaurant area and staff were very welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay. |

It is a good starting point for skiing in the region. There was a group that was disturbing everyone and making a mess. We could not get much sleep or rest because of them. |

Great accommodations for the price. Fun Bar atmosphere on site. Gorgeous view of canyon walls from the cabins. Staff can be unfriendly at times and seemed bothered by basic inquiries like sheets for a bed . but again for the price, this could be overlooked |

A szallas olcso es aki a hegyeket szereti, annak az elhelyezkedes tökeletes. A konyha meglehetösen szegenyesen felszerelt. Minden alapszolgaltatasert extran kell fizetni: tüzhely- es zuhanyzo-hasznalat. |

The Säumertaverne in Gründlischwand is situated amid stunning alpine surroundings in the Jungfrau region in the Bernese Oberland, between Interlaken and Grindelwald. |
This family friendly hotel consists of two buildings and is located at the entrance of the town. The centre and train station can be reached within a 10 minute walk. |
This popular, family-run holiday hotel enjoys an idyllic and very quiet location above the village of Wilderswil, with an wonderful view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and of Lake Brienz. |
The Silberhorn Hotel in the traditional village of Lauterbrunnen is the only building off the main street yet only 150 metres from the railway station, which provides access to the skiing and hiking... |
