Schweizerhof Zürich  

Me ha gustdo el personal del hotel, tan atento y amable. La habitación preciosa, con unas orquídeas blancas, fruta de bienvenida, aagua, chocolatinas, el hombre del carrito,amabilidad, un desyuno fantástico, la decoración preciosa.

Hay una botella de agua de bienvenida pero no hay vasos.

Confort de la habitación, buen estado de la misma, amabilidad del personal.

Creo que el desayuno tiene que ser mas variado y mas abundante.

I was delighted with my stay at the Schweizerhof and I was disappointed that I could not stay longer. The welcome and the service were outstanding! One nice touch was coming back to the hotel to change for dinner and being greeted in Reception with a welcome glass of champagne. What a nice touch! One of many - also on arrival there was a knock on the door and there was a fresh fruit platter for me. The breakfast was excellent. Great location - right opposite the main Zurich station and next to the Bahnhofstrasse. On check-out, I was given a bottle of mineral water for my journey. I left feeling that my stay had been a great experience. All the staff were friendly and provided a outstanding customer service. I will definitely stay at the Schweizerhof again and will certainly recommend it to friends and colleagues!

The room is not big but look better than shown in the website. It's very well equipped and very comfortable for the size and price. Breakfast is rich with varieties. The best part I like is a surprise in the evening when there was an old gentleman (very kind and polite) knocking the door in the evening, offering some fruits and chocolates before bedtime. This is quite sweet and special treatment.

The restaurant

All the little attentions are wonderful, plus it's just so conveniently situated for access to all parts of the city

This was my second visit. This time I missed the nice glass of bubbly waiting in the foyer after a hard day's sightseeing/shopping

The food was outstanding and the restaurant well laid out. Staff were accomodating with our young child. The hotel was well suited to businees, however the PCs / printer in the business room were lacking. The people and service was outstanding. All round, I will have fond memories of my stay in Zurich and of Schweizerhof Zürich.

The PCs were antiquated and the printer unresponsive. For a hotel of this type, 1 or 2 fast PCs with one good printer networked should be straight forward.

An excellent 5* hotel, yet missing a SPA/pool. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

There was probably a miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com. The room I booked should allow 2 extra beds for kids. My wife and I double checked this when making the booking. Yet, when I arrived at the hotel I was told I would need a bigger room (suite), so I ended up paying considerably more that I expected (I stayed for 5 nights).

Schweizerhof is an exxelent hotel with first class facilities an first class service in prime position in Zurich.

Location a little too busy

Right next to Zurich Central station - yet room is very quiet. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

From the moment we arrived there was a warm, friendly welcome and atmosphere. The staff were always very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was delightful and well serviced, the breakfast and the service we received was amongst the best ever. I have no trouble in reccommending this hotel to friends.

Great location, very friendly staff, good rooms (deluxe), many small things like fruits on each floor and in the rooms, bottles with water in the lobby etc. helping to survive :-)
