Great! Excellent and peaceful location. Not a sound heard from the street at night time. Close to the lake and walking distance from the old town and city (beautiful walk in fact). Very clean, nice decor and great breakfast (prosecco included on Sundays). Breakfast runs all the way to 11.30 which is a huge plus. Great value for the nice neighborhood. I highly recommend.

It was not too far from Küsnacht where I had a dinner appointment. I expected a big bed and not two children beds put together. Also, for the price there could parking facilities.

The hotel is in a lovely area very close to the lake. The hotel is nicely decorated, wooden floors, good beds and nice 'art' and has a positive feel about it. I had a middle sized room which was smaller than I expected, I guess the bed was 1.40 meter, there was a small area around the bed and the bathroom was very small (although convenient and in good condition). For me the size was perfect because I was on my own but for a longer stay for two people, I would prefer a bigger room. I had a room at the back which was quiet, there are double doors and good isolated windows. Breakfast was generous. Size of the bathroom.

Greatly enjoyed our stay! On a quiet street but still a 5-10 minute walk to everything you want to see. Can see the water at the end of the street. Room was charming, clean, and had all the amenities we would have wanted. The breakfast was included and had a great variety of delicious treats! I would highly recommend this hotel and it is great value! I would not change anything about this charming hotel.

Pleasant staff, quiet room, good breakfast buffet, excellent situation I arrived at 1415 and asked for a sandwich, but was told that the staff had already left, even though the restaurant was still being used; I feel this service should have been available at that hour. The rise in the Swiss franc has made room prices very high relative to other European cities which is of course not just your hotel's problem.

The location was great, and the hotel itself is very cute. The bed was really hard, and not very comfortable.

Very good hotel, pleasant employees with good hospitality, good restaurant, large and clean rooms, closed to the lake and the main city interests. Free wifi in rooms. Prices are acceptable for the offer in this expensive city

excellent and quiet neighborhood. easy access to old town centre via walking or tram. very clean room. great restaurant which also provided complimentary breakfast. not sure if it is zurich in general or just the hotel but it was expensive for the size of room. 3 nights was almost $1000 canadian including taxes and one night's dinner in the good restaurant. also no air conditioning and it was hot and humid. the hotel did provide a strong fan.

My husband and I enjoyed the bed linens - period. The hotel put is in a closet-sized room. It reminded me of a school dormatory. Horrible hot as they have no air conditioning. It cost double what the other 5 hotels we stayed at cost....yet it had the comfort of a economy hotel. The staff was ill informed about simple things, example: How do you get to the airport? Response: head this way, I think....shameful catering to business class and utter neglect to tourists.

The best thing about Seegarten is that you can have your breakfast outside in the terrace. There is no air conditioning. I stayed in a room in the top floor on a hot day and it was like being inside an oven. The fan in the room didn't help much.

The kindness and the efficiency of the staff. Location is also very pleasant and the room itself was fine apart from comments below. Extremely noisy building, you can hear your neighbour next door use the watertap. May be useful to remind your guest that having a shower after midnight is not recommended, as well as shouting in the corridors at night.

A great little hotel near the center of Zurich, a block away from the lake, yet on a quiet side street. I walked just about everywhere, including late at night, and it's in a great neighborhood. Nice restaurant, lively little bar scene (I was there over the weekend, Friday and Sat nights). Good breakfast. Very clean, fresh inviting room. Would stay again.
