Ideal location. From Luzern Railway station, the 24 bus takes you right outside the hotel [12 minute journey] The views of the lake and mountain from the bedrooms were spectacular. A real 5* location. Luzern itself is wonderful

Breakfast was pricey, but the town is a short bus trip away, and there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets there.

Reasonable parking - good room wih a good view

The setting is breathtaking, the hotel is well decorated, the views from the rooms are to die for. Some staff were helpful.

The Hotel is expensive. Not only this but depite advertising the hotel as being "relaxing" the management book wedding and other parties into the conference rooms on weekend nights. The party we endured started at 6pm on Saturday with music being played so loudly that we could hear every word clearly in our second floor junior suite. When we rang reception to complain we were told *this happens every time management books a wedding" and we were told they would ask the party to "quieten down". After four more complaints about the increasing noise, at 11.00pm we were moved to another, cheaper room. Our complaint to management the next day reduced the nights rate by a barely adequate reduction of 50% for that night. Be warned!

Hotel hermitage is a very nice, clean, and peaceful hotel, stuated almost on the lake with the mountain views. We are happy that we stayed there.

very central (10m far from Cathedral)

No parking discount so deserve 17€/day to add to your account. Very bad smell in the toilette. Nobody made the room during all day long. No American Express accepted even if logo showed and used for web reservation.

The hotel and it's setting are beautiful. The service is first class. The breakfast is excellent.

Comfortable junior suite room with balcony and lake view but like a throw back to the USA 1950s Swedish modern look. Room was comparable in size to other superior double rooms we had on this vacation. Good balcony with a pretty view. Good food Helpful staff

Expensive!!! No air conditioning, no pool, out of the way so have a car or take the bus to get to what's happening. I would classify it as a 3 star plus hotel.
