Hotel Senator  

in een voor ons onbekende wijk maar erg leuke design wijk . het ontbijt was prima en de kamer erg schoon

de ontvangst was erg onpersoonlijk en onprettig ,wij kregen het gevoel niet welkom te zijn . na een dag draaide het iets bij ,

Wij maakten gebruik van een aanbieding, anders hadden wij nooit voor dit hotel gekozen. Op de reservering stond: uitzicht op park. Wij keken op een binnenplaats met parkeerplaatsen. Er was nl helemaal geen park! Het was wel rustiger dan de kamer aan de straatkant, waar zij ons eerst hadden ingedeeld, Het ontbijt was prima en ook de garage was fijn.

De onprettige ontvangst van het receptie personeel.

Basic maar net hotel. Iets verder uit het centrum, maar met de (stipt rijdende) tram of met de fiets ben je daar zo. Bovendien is Zürich-West de alternatieve/hippe wijk van de stad, waar het zelf ook goed toeven is.

WiFi uitsluitend beschikbaar tegen betaling van dagtarieven, wat met alle smartphones en tablets van tegenwoordig niet erg symphatiek is.

Zeer lekker ontbijt. Ook het eten 's avonds was best te genieten.

Niet echt een aantrekkelijke buurt.

I stayed only one night but I liked hotel. It is 4 stops away from Hbf, I walked twice up to Bahnofstrasse, taking 20 minutes. There is a bar/club just next to hotel which is very good for me since I looked for such a place nearby and didn't want going to Langstrasse. My room didn't have sound proof windows but I didn't find it distracting and slept well. The girls at the reception desk were friendly and very polite, like almost everyone is, in Switzerland. This is a very expensive country and get ready to pay a lot for accomodation. Compared to Swiss standards hotel is good value for money. Although it was my second most expensive one-night stay after Oslo.

Breakfast is expensive even for Zurich. It is wiser to walk a few minutes and buy something outside. I would prefer not to give my key to reception desk everytime I went outside. This reminded me hostel policies.

Amenities of the hotel, cleanliness, Nespresso machine in the room and other give away products, very quiet and comfortable, documentation about Zürich automatically given upon arrival, parking

Quite difficult to find with a car as there are no street sign

I found it expensive - partly a "Euro" issue!

Great service, clean and modernair conditioned room, tv a little rubbish, and every litle extra E.G. internet, minbar, breakfast very expensive, however bottled water, toblerone and travelpack with tothbrush soaps and the like are free and very useful as well as a great sameday laundry and dry cleaning service. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly reccomended!

it's better to provide accommodation with breakfas,otherwise need to pay for the breakfast.

Comfort, proximity with our destination. Good price for this city with the promotion (normal price a little to expensive).

Hotel staffs were not very pleasant, if you don't care about that, the hotel is good if you can get a fair price.

The location is excellent. The hotel is just a short tram 4 ride from the main train station. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars close by, as well as the theatre. My room had been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. I found the staff to be cheerful and willing to answer any questions that I had. The underground parking at chf 20 per night is a good deal by Zurich standards. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

There is a nightclub next door and the noise of the revellers is very loud.

The only thing that desrves in this hotel is its location.Just a few meters from the tram station and only a few minutes by tram from the main station of Zyrich.

This is not a 4 star hotel!!! The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. It was so samll that me and my husband couldn't walk simultaneousley in the tiny place in front of the bed,so we had to wait each oher to cross the room. There was an awfull smell in the room probably coming from the carpet. Into the bath there weren't neither shower cap,nor cotton puds,not even a soap!!! Only a shower gel and a shampoo,the same for the whole 4 days of our staying there! What about the personel in the reception.Although they were gentle,they were all too young and probably students because they didn't even know the trams stations to the centre of the town! Also the reception is so small that has only a tiny space to sit,and we had to wait in a very small couch the time we were waiting our taxi to the airport.
