The stylish and elegant The Piz is close to the center of St. Moritz, half a mile from the Signal Cable Car. It has a pizzeria and free Wi-Fi. A sauna is available in the winter season.

We were travelling on our honeymoon so booked the room with view... We were given a room on the top floor... I was in love with the view... Truely beautiful location and the staff was great... They were happy people and very helpful... Would definitely think of coming back and will definitely recommend this hotel...
all of it
Friendly desk staff and transfer staff
Too hot in bedroom. Staff in restaurant seemed stressed. Food was ok but for the price was over priced
nice place, charming, great Location, good breakfast
^Quality of mattress, bad surprised to have to pay 25 chf/Person for Sauna as it is advertised gratis on their Website. they Claim that for low season the fee applies, for high season not. this should be clear.
This hotel is in the center and easily accessed on foot with friendly services.
We were given a lake view room. Good service - we left some books and other stuff in the room, and the staff found these things for us and gave them to us when we returned to get back our luggage.
a bit far from train station, need to take a bus
Smoking in doors so bar often has smokers. Food expensive.
Beautiful old building and classics touch. Breakfast including a great selection, service was awesome and staff friendly. The view was magnificent.
European feather pillows not the best, were too flat for my liking.
The staff were very nice and kind. We had a nice view of the lake from our room.
All staff was extraordinary helpful, always very friendly and with style. Frankly, Soldanella is the place where one would like to enjoy its stay in St. Moritz.
Staff was nice. The hotel has an old world feel and we like that. Almost everything in St Moritz is being built new with Scandinavian influence. We were there during off season and half of the hotels were closed.
We had a room on the 4th floor that had fabulous view. We had to change to a room with a lesser view because the bath in the 1st room was so small. They were very nice about it.
The view from our room was outstanding! The small touches such as heated towel racks made our stay very nice. While the hotel sits on a hill, the train station pick up saved us a long uphill with our luggage. The staff was wonderful and the hotel is close to great shopping areas! I especially cracked a smile when I read a local sign that advertises cafe, tea and caviar. Classy touch to everything at Soldanella! I highly recommend it!
Too far from home!!!!
Excellent experience with professional and helpful staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our room has a fantastic view of the lake. We will come back again.
The beautiful old style & features of the hotel. As well as the location with rooms overlooking the lake.
Very friendly staff, beautiful view on the lake, close to the center. Room is very spacious with plenty of furniture.
The sinks were in the room separate from the toilet. bathroom is tiny.
Staff was excellant & always helpfull. WiFi signal was poor and had to constantly reconnect.
The lake view room was great. It's a good choice for skiing travellers.
Great location. Kept the charm of old times and a somewhat quirky grandeur. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms toward lake are spacious, full of light and have an amazing view. Spa is refurbished and whilst small, more than you would expect for a three star. The food we've had was great and the breakfast good.
The wifi requires a code, which you get for free, but it means each time you need to logg in again and it can't cope with multiple devices. I was told this was changed recently as network kept crashing, but the response should be to increase bandwidth, rather than to make it cumbersome. Whilst it is nice they kept their authentic charm, the bathrooms are small and need refurbishing. Parking can be an issue when you come to late, spaces are limited and are attributed on a first come, first serve principle, there is no staff to help parking car or help with luggage, which is in line with a three star and the relatively cheap rates for St. Moritz.
spa & bar, transport provided to the station
a bit far away from the railway staion
The hotel had a lot of options for the kids. When they weren't skiing, they had the playroom, pool, and billard tables. The hotel had a restaurant and a bar downstairs with music for the adults. I would stay again!!
The rooms are very basic, so no tv or little refrigerator. The bathroom is tiny, but we were there to ski not to stay in the room.
This hotel just bursts with charm of a not so far by gone era. The staff makes you feel at home immediately. We arrived after they had quite a lot of snow so the owner gave me his parking space. Not done every day. We had a lovely room with a view and I mean a view. Great vista over the lake and nearby mountains. The rooms was very clean, not the biggest, plenty of closet space and everything else one actually need. They have a real nice cozy Bar which can get quite lively when there is a rugby game on and all the Brits show up. For those that smoke, great news, you can enjoy here. Breakfast is served in a large eating hall and has everything one needs to get a hardy start for the day. We did try the restaurant one evening and it was a little disappointing. Average I would say but they do make a great onion soup and again very good service. This place is certainly recommendable, not far from town. One can certainly feel at home here. And should you speak Italian, bendornato a casa!
Very friendly staff, good breakfast, gorgeous hotel. 10 minutes from the lake (using the escalator near the center) and around 20 minutes from the train station on foot.
Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel is very well located close to the main shops.
Parking is limited with little off street parking near by.
Location near city center
View from room was excellent
Availability of lift on top floor was challenging
