Hotel Waldhaus am See is on the shores of the St. Moritz Lake and features a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains of the Engadin Valley.
Score from 304 reviews Excellent
The stylish and elegant The Piz is close to the center of St. Moritz, half a mile from the Signal Cable Car. It has a pizzeria and free Wi-Fi. A sauna is available in the winter season.
Score from 390 reviews Good
Decorated in the classical style of the late 19th century, Hotel Reine Victoria is only 325 ft from the ski lifts in St. Moritz Bad. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are available.
Score from 313 reviews Good
Only 200 metres from Lake Sankt Moritz, Casa Franco offers rooms with a private balcony and beautiful views of Piz Nair. The Engadin bus stops 200 metres away. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

Excellent service, warm welcome. We always ask for and are given the same room. This year we were especially grateful for the help of the reception staff, following a skiing accident, when our own travel insurance company behaved so badly.
WiFi is extremely slow, even at 6.00 a.m. (but still useful to have it).
Restaurent and breakfast
Loved the restaurant, food was fabulous especially the rump steak. Bed and pillows very comfortable, best sleep of the trip. Room was huge and very clean. Would stay there again.
In the main building there was no lift so carrying 6 bags to the top floor was a pain.
A cozy(somewhat simple)hotel with a popular pizza restaurant. The pizza place itself makes it worth a stay ;) Takes a 15 minute walk to get to the city center, but that´s okay. The surroundings are peaceful and calm, with a nice lake nearby.
The breakfast could be more exciting and the room rates do not match the room standard.
Staff very efficient, location - a pleasant 20-30 mins walk from station on lakeside esplanade. Given the early morning beauty of the alpine resort, the walk to and from the station was a highlight in itself.
We liked the cleanliness and the willingness of the staff to accommodate our requirement for early breakfast due to early departure
Room is clean and comfy.. Wifi signal is very good in the room, 2mins walk to the lake & 7 mins walk to train station (or ~chf15 for taxi, or chf3 for bus #3). Breakfast is good, there are cold cut, hard boiled egg, 2-4 types of cheese, 5-6 types of breads/cakes, 3 types of yoghurt with >10 types of muesli ingredients, fruit juices, coffee & tea..
Nothing in particular. There is no lift in the hotel, which is very common in Europe unless you are staying in big city & those commercialized big hotels. P/s: not about the hotel.. On Saturday and Sunday, all shops are closed in St Moritz. Please plan your trip if you plan to do shopping in St Moritz.
The front desk staff was very helpful with restaurants, directions, and help with transportation. The breakfast was good and served in a pleasant room. The bathroom was very clean.
Small lobby and rooms.
Easy to reach by bus from the train station. Being on a lower level of St Moritz you get an excellent view of the town and mountains above.
Restaurant not open, except for breakfast (May is obviously not a good time to visit St Moritz as several hotel restaurants were closed). From the winter photos one thinks there is a lake in front of the hotel, whereas that is a sports field, the lake being further along the road, out of sight of this hotel. As the building is only two storeys, there is no lift so beware anyone with mobility problems. Wi-Fi was out of order the evening of our stay.
Close to things we wanted to see in the city. Good transportation from the hotel to the town center. Staff helpful in answering questions and giving info. Breakfast in a nice setting. Staff took car of getting coffee and tea which was served hot.
No elevator to the second floor. Had to drag my suitcase up and down the stairs.
Its a Very quite place and close to the cente.
We actually stayed in Casa Franco. They missed my cancellation and re-booking of Hotel Sonne notices. Since we were there, we didn't want to change back. Casa Franco is a few blocks away from Hotel Sonne, no lift and the facility is basic. It is ok for a one night stay.
Good breakfast and a nice restaurant with fair prices for St Moritz Free parking and good Wifi
A bit far away from the town centre and small rooms
Good restaurant, excellent staffs, unbelievable view to mountains.
Good breakfast, very close to cross-country ski trails, friendly staff
Very nice and friendly staff. Excellent atmosphere in dining room and bar. Practical rooms.
Makes you feel like you are in transit:very basic and pretty small room; empty white walls; poor lightning; at check in we found the door to the balcony widely open, though it was snowing outside-the room felt like a refrigerator. After dinner we noticed that the heating in the bathroom was not functional so it was too cold inside to take a shower. Fortunately the guy from the reception found a temporary solution to this problem. No elevator available, we had to carry the luggage upstairs. We paid 300 CHF for one night; in comparison, we had accomodation in Zermatt in a nice, well decorated triple room for only 260.
Thank you, a great place to stay, staff friendly and helpful. Great restaurant/Pizzéria my husband and son really enjoyed eating there most nights. Delicious breakfast buffet, taking into account different diets ie; gluten free cereals.
Pricey! but then we were there for Xmas and New Year.
