The 4-star-superior Hotel Sonne enjoys a quiet location in Zermatt and offers you fine cuisine, an indoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, and a Roman-style spa area.

Various aroma steam baths and a sauna invite you to relax after a day out in the fresh mountain air.

The elegantly furnished rooms all have a balcony, a cable TV, a tea and coffee maker and offer free wired internet access.

Tasty Swiss food and international cuisine, as well as a rich buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the restaurant.

A newly built smokers' lounge is available as well in the Hotel Sonne.

Fabien Mature couple THONON LES BAINS, France March 28, 2011	We initially booked a standard double bedroom with no view to the famous Matterhorn but were upgraded for the same price to a junior suite with the view to the famous mountain upon arrival : definitely a very good deal. The room equipment and hotel facilities were exactly as described on the booking web site : no surprise ! The hotel is centrally located very close to the Zermatt Church. The hotel sits on a hill and it's a bit of a hike with skis/luggage, but since you're staying in the mountains, hills are a bit of a given.
