A perfect Location, very calm and still not more then 5 minutes from the center, All was great the Hotel, the Staff, the Pool and welness facility, we will go back for sure.... Only Hotel Sonne in Zermatt Nothing

Excellent experience at Hotel Sonne, clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast and most of all over the top service and attention. I want to thank the Hotel staff for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable, they made us feel at home and helped us with anything we needed, the staff at the reception, restaurant and hotel bar, never had an overall excellent experience with service like at Hotel Sonne. Location was very good, near the hustle and bustle but far enough to not have the noise from the main street be a factor. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Brilliant pool and spa facilities. Lovely building, surroundings and views (from a valley facing room), and at perfect location for being very near Zermatt center but not disturbed by it. Favourite hotel in Zermatt, and I've stayed in a number of them from very expensive to quite cheap. Only one very minor point considering our overall experience; the internet facility in our room was a cable that must be acquired from the front desk. But mine didn't work. I'm sure pursuing this point with the staff would have resolved it.

The staff and the hotel were excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room and balcony were perfect. The hotel staff directed me to a number of resteraunts and local hiking trails, all of which exceeded expectations. I had a wonderful time at Hotel Sonne and would recommend it to anyone.

l'accueil et le professionnalisme du personnel ainsi que sa gentillesse. la chambre datant des années 80... il est gênant d'entendre les bruits de couloirs, ainsi que des bruits des chambres a coté Les jaccuzzi sont super mais petit pour 6 personnes quand il y a beaucoup de monde dans l'hotel

Wir haben den Aufenthalt an und in der Sonne sehr genossen. Nachdem überaus herzlichen Willkommen ging es bei uns gleich weiter auf die Wanderschaft Trockener Steg - Schwarzsee - Zermatt. Es war einfach traumhaft, sagenhaft einfach spitze! Zurück im Hotel wurden wir in die sehr schöne und super sauber Junior-Suite begleitet. Der kleine aber feine Wellnes-Bereich und der Pool haben nach der Wanderschaft ware Wunder der Entspannung bewirkt. Nach dem feinen Steinpilz-Fondue schliefen wir tief und fest unter dem Matterhorn den erholsamen Schlaf der Gerechten.

Sehr gepflegtes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel der Spitzenklasse. Dusch WC ist Standard. Der Schwimmbad mit seinen Whirlpools ist das schönste was ich auf meinen Reisen um die Welt je gesehen habe. Der Aussen-Whirlpool ist unschlagbar. Die Gastfreundschaft des Hotelier Ehepaares lässt einen vergessen, das man eigentlich für eine Dienstleistung bezahlt. Da gibt es nichts zu kritisieren.
