Very soft bed otherwise great.

Great location, very close to all the interesting sights of Bern. Kettle in the room, tea+ coffee, bisquits on the pillow. Very good bathroom with a bathtube and everything necessary for it. Excellent wifi internet in the room. The hotel staff gave me an adapter for the swiss socket.

When the window was closed,it was quite stuffy, when it was open, it as very noisy, starting from 6am already. The room was quite small and not very new. And of cource it's too expensive for this level, but it's always the case in Switzerland:(

Breakfast was very good. Hotel is a short walk to the train station, and close to local transit.

We wanted a room with three single beds, which we got, the third bed was a matress put on top of some sort of chair. The ends of the matress hung off the ends of the chair, it was ok, but not quite comfortable.

The hotel is very well situated, right near the central railway station and the city old center so we wouldn't be disturbed by the carneval (Berner Fasnacht).

It would be marvellous if the room's walls would be painted anew.

Good location being close to main railway station (10 mins walk) and city.

A typically small room standard for Europe but what was annoying is that a few of the slats that support the mattress fell out - I replaced them myself. Also the young lady at reception was not very attentive or friendly being quite busy speaking socially to someone on her phone while attending to clients.

Expensive for this type of Hotel. But I think that is the country and the city.

The proximity to the station and old town. It is very handy and a very adequate hotel.

Could need a fresh coat of paint - but other than that it was fine

Close to the train station

Worst night in past three weeks of touring Europe! We arrived a few hours early and we were told by staff that it was impossible to get in before 2:00 pm because tha was what are contract stated, told to return at 1: 00 to check to possibly check in early, mind you it was raining that day. Very rude and dis interested staff . At 2:00 we were told it would be anotherv30 minutes, with no apology. the room was small, dirty, and at best could be a one star hotel. Breakfast buffet had warming tray but no eggs or bacon or the like. Your other hotels you contract with from France to Austria to Italy were absolely a delight with accommodating staff and room quality and ammenities as advertised . I would like to hear from manager, Nadia at front desk was a disgrace and as unsympathetic and arrogant as I have ever experienced.

Near the Railway station and near the old town. Great coffee shop inside the Hotel, and Good restaurants nearby. One of the best Indian restaurants in the city, in Switzerland and in Europe - India4u is only 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Whenever in Berne, I intend to stay only there.

Dear Lady/Sir, At the first evening we got the reception hostess to prepare two doggy bags because next day we had to leave the hotel early morning. She declared that next morning from 6 hour the breakfast package would be at the reception, but nothing was there and according to the new reception demoiselle this was the fault of the previous receptionist. We had to leave the hotel w/o breakfast in spite of the fact that we paid for it. We would like to get back the amount of two breakfasts. Thanks for your interest.

Location was good for shopping and restaurants.

Room was poor value when compared to other Hotels that we've stayed in. Double room was small and bland and overlooked by a high rise office block.

Good location. An ok hotel nothing to exciting.

The breakfast food could do with 'topping up' more often.

good location (very close to the old center), very clean, quiet, modern appliances in the room

Staff were not very friendly. Room was "tiny". No air conditioning. No space allocated for traveling cases. No wardrobe to speak of. No room to move around once you had put cases against a wall. Bathroom lacked bathroom accessories, but the room so small, there would be nowhere to put them. Thankfully we only had to spend one night at this hotel. Very much only a one night business mans hotel.
