very nice location just a walking distance from train station and very comfortable.
Clean, new, like the colour scheme and interior design.
Pillows - too soft, no support, cause stiff neck.
Room looks dated from 1980s/90s. Bed and pillow are flat like pancakes. No onsite parking - public parking space is tight and very expensive.
New and clean bathroom Breakfast was quite good We arrived early and they made an effort to get us a room before 2pm because my husband was ill. Very nice of them. They got my husband and extra pillow that night.
Tiny room. If we had a suitcase, we would have to open it on the bed. No sliding door to cover shelf and closet. Not enough pillows Soft mattress gave me a backache the next morning
Nice and cosy, the single room was quite big, the position was perfect and everything was really new and clean!
Breakfast could be improved. Not too bad anyway.
The room was good but seemed like it was a room for two with a third bed brought in. Breakfast was good and had a good variety of offerings. They held our luggage for a little while with no problem.
Upon check-out it seemed like they would prefer I charge the room instead of paying cash. I was told where there was a bank so that I could 'break' a large bill. My daughter had to go down to reception to receive logon and password for wi-fi. The information needed to be texted to a mobile number and when traveling not everyone can receive texts or calls to a mobile number without receiving large charges. Reception was not happy to have to give her the information in print.
Buffet breakfast with excellent choice
Room temperature was unable to regulate. When window open to get fresh air, the street notice is loud, when the window is shut room gets over heated at night
Breakfast was nice.
Very small room, uncomfortable mattress and pillows,Saturday night bar and restaurant not open and no clear instructions on wi-fi use
We were only there for one night with an early train the next day so location was perfect for us. Very clean room.
Room was exceptionally small. Would suit one person but definitely not two. No mini bar/fridge. If I stayed in Bern longer than one night I would not stay there.
Location, breakfast, staff, facilities,
Too expensive but it's the capital
Clean, quiet (4th floor, not facing road), free bottle of Swiss water, nice breakfast (my top priority), good location (5-10min walk from station), free bike rental (Bern rollt) 2min walk away, awesome complimentary yellow plastic duck!
not the most fascinating architecture, but don't really care too much as long as things are clean and working
very clean/comfort bed/wifi/
Location 5 minutes from town centre; easy to access by car or public transport; free public transport ticket for duration of stay
Very expensive for what it is offerd
Location not real good
Quite clean and business like
Ver very small rooms
Good breakfast and staff. They provide useful city map. Good location.
- Good location - Room was quiet - Helpful staff
- Issues with Wi-Fi (staff provided instructions but still did not seem to work correctly)
Bed was comfortable. Friendly-helpful reception. Location is very central.
The quality of the products they use in general was very cheap and ordinary. I think I expect better stuff, when I pay 150 Euros per night... Breakfast was also very ordinary.. The room floor was not clean. It was dusty. No air conditioning in the room, so if you want air, you have to open the large window but then you hear street noises cause you are in city centre. The room could have been a little bit more bigger...
Location, good break fast, parking and internet , also kind staff and helping.
location of hotel is great, close to train station staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists good choice at breakfast
Breakfast was really good with quite a bit of variety. We were given a Bern card entitling us to free travel on public transport in Bern during our stay. This was fabulous and enabled us to see everything we wanted to in Bern. Hotel location is great and staff all were friendly and polite.
No air conditioning (which we knew before we stayed there and hotel does not state that it is airconditioned), but an otherwise perfectly good room was hot and stuffy. Windows are double glazed so no traffic or cathedral bells noise when closed, but we needed to have the windows open as long as possible due to the stuffiness and when the window is open there is a lot of traffic noise and very loud cathedral bells.
Ventilation of room was very poor, fresh air could not reach room, so that the room is very hot. One of the staff charged us additional CHF 100.-- although my friend was only visiting. The room was double, I think very unfair and rude
Teamaking facilities within the room.
No air-conditioning and the room was hot but not able to open the window as overlooking a busy road junction.
Staff was accomodating for a late evening check-in.
Room was small. Almost no room to walk around luggage.
