Central location, easy access to First ski lift and bus to other ski areas. Good wellness area, busy at times. A very nice hotel which would suit travellers of different generations.

I really liked the breakfast. The mountain view room was really nice.

The room was too cold and they only had single beds in all rooms. We did complain about the heating so we were given a portable heater, but this didn't make much difference.

All your staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The Spa was excellent and thank you for the upgrade to the Mountain view room. Hotel was well maintained and in lovely condition. Highly recommend your hotel and have recommended on Tripadvisor,

That the hotel bar is not accessable from the hotel. Also the "temporary" wooden entrance lets the asthetics of the hotel and bar down.

The packed breakfast they gave us on morning of departure because we were leaving so early (6:00)!

The bugs in the beds!!

We could sit on the balcony and have a coffee/drink with a great view of the mountains. The staff (all but one) were very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was good and their terrace restaurant was very popular (view of the mountains). They had a awesome spa with lots of options which was very relaxing. If you are travelling by train it was 2 or 3 minutes walk from the main station and in the summer the Wednesday night street party was right in front of the hotel.

We had a bad experience with one of the servers. Although the room was nice it was not the same level as some of the others we stayed for the same price. However this was a smaller town.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel and decor of the room were cosy, comfortable and very homely. The breakfasts were excellent...wonderul food and variety, excellent friendly service from the staff. The balcony and views of the mountain were wonderful!! The location was perfect as we were within easy walking distance of everything. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if we are ever lucky enough to return to Grindelwald, and would most certainly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very accommodating to all our requests. Extra cot in the room was no charge. Extra bed for a 3yr old no charge. Interconnecting rooms wasn't a problem. Staff were extremely friendly. Mini dressing gowns for children. Special teddy bear soap for the children. Small touches that made the stay extemely pleasant. Location superb - in the middle of the village. Great view of the Eiger.

Location is magnificant with excellent view of the mountains but be sure to take a mountain view room! Staff was very helpful. We were picked up at train station (only 5 minute walk). Breakfast was very good. Resturant was very good and fair value. Will prepare the meals per your request.

Prices are high compared to comparable hotels in us but that is mainly due to $us weakness. Could use some repair and clean up.

Loved the hotel and its location. Staff were particularly helpful as to town attractions, even though there were very few guests at this time. Very good value for money. Breakfasts delicious. Spa facilities excellent after a big day walking.

Two things come to mind. Too many chairs in the lounge gave a crowdwd appearance even with few guests, plus no lit fire at night. Also, the current very poor Wi-Fi reception throughout the hotel.

Fantastic staff, polite, and helpful. We requested for baby cot , and our baby got a small gift, bedroom slippers as well as baby friendly soap! :) so impressed

Excellent staff: helpful and pleasant. Good breakfast: provide both American and Continental breakfast. Nice spa facility. Wifi is free and connection is fluent. Guests are welcomed to use the spa facility after a day of sport even after checking out.

The spa centre is very nice and the steam is awesome. They even have projector that plays mountain scenery slides while using the spa. The spa centre is shared by both men and women, meaning both genders have access to it anytime. We can wear swimsuits in the whirlpool, the steam room, and ice room but not in the sauna. The problem is that there is no changing rooms with curtain/door for private change of cloth, so changing can be quite uneasy.
