Very pleasant and helpful staff. Free and high quality internet access which I really appreciated! Nice restaurant. Great location for my needs. Economical. Very basic room but reasonable value for the location and other amenities. |

The bed was excellent, my room very quiet and the staff friendly. The bath, though small, was recently re-done and attractive. The room´s furniture, though of good quality, was thrown together and cramped. I could not open the closet door fully without it hitting the bedside table. Nor could I figure out how to turn the bedside lamp on and off. |

Best bit was our beds!! Really comfortable, and electric - ideal for watching the TV, or resting with your legs up. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice. Plus we had a lake view, which is a must! |

This is a good basic hotel with no frills but with everything one needs in an excellent location at a reasonable price for Switzerland. The owners are very helpful and friendly, their breakfast staff very ordinary. Our room was very spacious and not one of the renovated ones. I would definitely return. |

Excellent central location near station and boat quay. Great view over lake. Electric tilting beds and flat screen TV. Self-service breakfast was basic but adequate. Double glazing kept out traffic noise. Although it didn't bother us, there were no facilities apart from room and breakfast. Would imagine that in warmer weather front rooms would be noisy with windows open and stuffy without. |

I had a very comfortable room with all modcons and a superb view of Lake Geneva. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. The continental breakfast was good. |

Hotel Splendid is a grreat Hotel in Montreux. Family run and nothing is too much trouble. It is located directly below the railway station and across the road from the ferry terminal on lake Geneva. Is a little expensive but everything is in Montreux. |

Front desk staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Hotel rooms are clean and well lighted. General cleanliness is good. Nicely located around lake with easy excess to daily needs. Shopping is not too far via public transport. Not at this moment. I am sure there are thing that they can improve but during my trip it is satisfactory. |

Helpful, friendly, English-speaking staff, excellent location, good continental breakfast included. Large tv. Nice rooms. Bed with high end frame is uncomfortable for tall people - according to photos not all rooms have these beds so it's best to ask. We found the pillows heavy and uncomfortable but this is a personal preference. Lobby not on ground floor. |

Our room had just been remodeled and it was beautiful. It was like an expensive American hotel. Our view was great. We used the fan at night to block out the street noise and closed the windows. The hallways need to be redone but I am sure it takes time to remodel the whole hotel. |
