Good Location, nice staff

Mr Ron Richter was extremely unkind, he treated the guests sure not as valuable Clients.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and we appriciated the Van service from the hotel to the ski runs.

Steigenberger was overbooked and put us into Hilton for the first night although the day before when we called everything seemed to be ok with our booking. Few hours after our call we received an email that we have to stay for the first night in a different hotel. We called back and were told that they would try their best to get us a room in Steigenberger and would call us first thing in the morning of the next day. We never received a call back. We were also told to call 1h in advanced before we arrive at the train station in order the hotel Van could pick us up. When we arrived there was no Van and it turned out that we were forgotten. After waiting for 20min we called the hotel and the Van picked us up. The driver was also not informed that we have to stay for the first night in Hilton and had to double check first with the hotel staff where to drop us. During check-in at Steigenberger we were then offered an upgrade to junior suite. What the staff did not recognize was that we booked and paid already for a junior suite and when we mentioned this the answer was that we would get the biggest junior suite. Lateron another staff told us that all the junior suites are the same size! Nice hotel in general but for a 5 Star Hotel we would expect a much better service. We looked at different hotels before we booked. Steigenberger was the top 1 in price for which we expected also Top Service.

Perfect Location. Polite & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very comfy bed. If one gets the room for 200chf a night (booking.com) including breakfast, then it's well worth the money. Do I think this is a 5 star hotel, having stayed recently in the Ritz Carlton in Berlin - NO, but it is a lovely hotel with charm. Bar area is quiet,but it's lovely when a fire is burning. Quite kid friendly (for Switzerland). All in all, it's a very nice hotel.

Disappointing that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Pool is quite cold (our opinion) Dinner was really basic, nothing special at all. AND beware other booking.com guests. It mentions on the confirmation, 50chf per person for dinner - please advise the waiting staff in the restaurant of this price, otherwise one will be shocked at how much one would HAVE to pay for this very basic food. And think 12chf for small bowl of spaghetti with butter for a 4 year old is bit much.Plus, the service in the big restaurant in the evening is very poor (sorry).

One of the best hotels in the Alpine region. Sophisticated atmosphere with a twist of the old charm. Nice rooms and facilities. Hotels private shuttle bus to the slopes and back works like a clock.

There were no cups for tea in a pool area and sometimes they were no apples. That's the only thing.

A bit pricy for what it was and considering it was a construction zone for wef, but overall a good stay.

Best hotel in Davos. Breakfast is particularly good.

The staff at the restaurant were very kind and helpfull.

I have asked for quite room but in the last 2 days of our stay there were construction right under our room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was a little bit small, but lovely. Personal cab service to the city centre and back on our demand impressed us! Excellent breakfast! Also we enjoyed the wellness area.

Loud ventilation in the bathroom, which switches on with the light every time and work after you leave the bathroom. Little thing, but it was very annoying. The room service menu has poor variety

Fantastic hotel!

The frontdesk staff (especially Linassa) was great, as was the bar staff. The gentleman (from Holland) that transported us to and from the train station was superb. The beds for the children were already in place and the robes for everyone was great. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in Europe (over a 5 yr period) Pls send our thanks!

Wish we could have enjoyed Romeo & Julia, but a set 4-course meal won't work for the children. Wifi need not be priced as high.

Very nice comfortable hotel

The food was very over priced and the quality was poor. I sent my meal back and refused to order anything else. Two of other meals on our table were reasonable and one was good ( chicken with salad ) so not difficult to get right ! This experience has put me off staying there again and I would not recommend this hotel.

The quality of the hotel was as expected, the greeting from the staff was excellent - the mini-bus pickup from the railway station was really efficient and a very nice way to get to the hotel. Our receptionist was particularly helpful and showed us around the hotel, so we were able to get our bearings immediately. Breakfast was superb and something to look forward to each morning. The leisure centre was excellent and we really enjoy the whole experience.

I initially was disappointed because our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking builders replacing the roof-felting, which we were not warned about. So my husband approached the reception to request a move as we did not travel from the UK to Switzerland to overlook workmen - we were relocated to the front of the hotel, but the superior room we had at the side of the hotel was not replicated at the front. This initially was disappointing but we did enjoy our stay and the facilities of the hotel and the wonderful breakfasts. We would love to go back sometime in the future but would ensure we got the right room next time.

A wonderful Hotel, I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who intends to visit the Davos - Klosters area. Hotel staff very courteous.

very rich breakfast!

last evening I could not find any persons from the reception, I called many times, lost about 45 minutes, I had to go down and found no one. This last moment made me less happy about this hotel.
